00:00Are we actually getting to grips with the bullying and the misogyny in our armed forces?
00:09We're absolutely getting to grips with it. And one reflection of that is that as we get
00:16to grips with it, there will be the ugly stories about some of the things that have gone on
00:21in the past. And that's really difficult for all of us, difficult as senior leaders, but
00:28we're clear that we will support the people who in the past may have felt that they didn't
00:35have the confidence to make some of those complaints and those grievances, and now we're
00:40getting after it in a way that is much stronger than ever before. But we've also got to reflect
00:46that we are an organisation that looks to represent the whole of our society. Everybody
00:53that wants to serve in their armed forces should have the same opportunity and it should
00:59be attractive for everybody across our nation.
