00:00Let me ask you about the new album, because the new album, you are more involved in this musically, I understand, than previous works.

00:07So you've taken control, you're more in control of your music than before?

00:10Yes.

00:11Why did it take you so long? Why did you wait till now to do it?

00:13Well, there's a lot of reasons, but I won't get into the whole story, but...

00:20Well, we know a lot of the whole story, so we don't have to go over the whole story, or, you know, what we think about it.

00:24It was like, I think, since the conservatorship, I mean, the conservatorship is the third year of me being under that,

00:30and I just, I felt like a lot of the things were planned for me to do, and, you know, being told what to do,

00:37and I was just like, for this one, I want to make it my baby, and I want to do it myself,

00:41and I was very strategic about the way I did it, and, yeah, that's why it means so much to me.

00:48Well, I'm hoping it will really connect with people, and I suspect it will connect with people more

00:55when they know it's coming so much from you, so much from where you are and who you are right now.

01:01And you seem in a really good place right now, would that be a safe thing to say?

01:04Yes, sir.

01:05Okay, so you're pretty happy, pretty sort of, that's good to know.

01:09Because, you know, I hope you know this, but, you know, you know you have millions of fans around the world,

01:17I know you know that, but I hope you know that they feel love to you, they feel protective of you.

01:24I feel for them, sir.

01:27They want to see you cry.
