00:00If you voted for Kamala, why?
00:03New York City is famously a blue stronghold,
00:06proving reliable and safe for Democrats for a century.
00:09But one borough has reliably voted for Donald Trump
00:13every time he's run for president.
00:15This election, Trump achieved his largest margin
00:18of victory on Staten Island, claiming almost 65% of the vote.
00:22I'm very happy.
00:23I voted for Donald Trump in this election.
00:26I was very happy with him his first four years.
00:30I think he put the country in a perfect position.
00:33I felt like it was due either way.
00:36Kamala didn't really mean no good to me.
00:38Trump definitely don't mean no good to me.
00:41But I understand why the people of my color
00:44voted for Trump, because they believe
00:46he's going to clear the border.
00:48We do know where Trump stands.
00:51Trump stands as, hey, I'm going to get these people out
00:54of the border, overtime pay.
00:56We're not going to tax that.
00:58This are all things that actually affect you.
01:00There are some policies which I favor for Trump,
01:03and there are some which I favor for Kamala.
01:05For Trump, I like his policies in regard to tax,
01:08and also his policies on abortion.
01:11The last four years, I've been absolutely miserable
01:13with the way the country went.
01:15The economy was horrible.
01:16I think he'll bring it back.
01:18I also think he'll bring back our reputation
01:21across the world, that we're not a joke.
01:24Kamala, what did she tell you that made you say,
01:28OK, I'm going to vote for her?
01:31Trump has expressed economic, foreign policy.
01:36She never expressed nothing.
01:38When he was in, everybody was afraid of us.
01:41And I just think that he'll be good for the country.
01:43He's a felon and cannot vote.
01:46The reason why I'm appalled by it,
01:48because Trump is a felon himself.
01:51But yet, he could run for president.
01:53So my thing is this, Trump, are you
01:56going to have leniency on our brothers, our black men,
02:00our people, who can't vote, and you still in the office?
02:05I did 13 years in prison.
02:06I cannot vote.
