00:00Alice Guo is not guilty in the two graft cases that she is facing in the Valenzuela Regional Trial Court.

00:09The issue of the permit in Pogo in Bambantarlac was done by the mayor.

00:14Chino Gaston was involved.

00:20The not guilty plea in Valenzuela RTC branch 285 was dismissed by Bambantarlac Mayor Alice Guo this morning.

00:27Two cases of violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act were filed against Guo

00:32in connection with the issue of the former mayor's permission in the unlicensed Pogo in Bambantarlac.

00:38Based on the information provided by the court in the GMA Integrated News,

00:42the two lawyers of Guo went to the arraignment,

00:45while Guo went through videoconferencing from Pasig City Jail where he was detained.

00:52The arraignment was followed by a pre-trial where there was a stipulation of facts,

00:56the prosecution and defense,

00:58and the evidence and witnesses that will be used in the trial were listed.

01:02On November 22, the hearing of the evidence that was submitted by the prosecution will be held.

01:08In the afternoon, Alice Guo was brought to DOJ Manila to file her counter affidavit.

01:14Many of the 35 accused did not face a preliminary investigation or submitted a counter affidavit.

01:21Even so, the case was deemed submitted for resolution.

01:24Based on the complaint and the supporting evidence in support of the complaint,

01:28we'll see to it that we'll resolve this case as soon as possible.

01:32Cassandra Lee Ong and Sheila Guo were also in DOJ Manila this morning

01:36for the last preliminary investigation of the Money Laundering case.

01:40Ong is facing a case of qualified human trafficking in DOJ Manila

01:45and her preliminary investigation was confirmed on November 18.

01:49But the separate case of human trafficking against Ong was dismissed by DOJ Pampanga prosecutors

01:56due to the lack of evidence according to her lawyer.

01:59Ong is the authorized representative of Lucky South 99 in Porac, Pampanga.

02:05One of the complaints has already been dismissed for failure to meet the standard of prima facie evidence with reasonable certainty.
