00:00I'm Calvin, Projects and Design Manager at Shoalhaven Water.
00:08We're here today at Meadow Creek Burrier for the replacement of a DN750 raw water trunk
00:14main.
00:15Today I have Andrew McVeigh with me, the Operations Manager for Shoalhaven Water.
00:20Hi, welcome.
00:21This is the centrepiece of the Shoalhaven Water infrastructure.
00:24It's the 750mm trunk main from Burrier Pump Station on the Shoalhaven River and pumps
00:30it to Bamarang Dam for storage for use throughout the Shoalhaven.
00:34From there it goes into the Bamarang Water Treatment Plant.
00:37It can pump at 1000 litres a second and has the capabilities of pumping all the way down
00:44to Bowery in the south and also out to Bowery in the north.
00:53This project has been internally investigated, surveyed, designed, project managed and constructed
00:59within Shoalhaven Water.
01:02It's a big achievement for the teams.
01:04The project has had a very critical time frame allocated to it due to the fact that this
01:08trunk water main services the dam at Bamarang over six weeks of construction with only two
01:14sections of pipe left to weld in.
01:17The collaboration between the teams has been immense and we're very proud of what we've
01:22done.
