Valencia, Spain: High water pressure bursts door open, enabling people to escape during flash flood.

This intense footage captures the panic unfolding in a hair salon during the catastrophic flash floods in Spain.

"We were working when the water suddenly started to rise," the filmer, Ana, shared with WooGlobe. "We put towels and blankets against the door, but the water had already risen significantly. Due to the water pressure, the door eventually broke open — thankfully, because if not, we might have drowned."

Ana explained that eight people were in the salon at the time of the incident.

"The water began flooding in rapidly, and the lights went out," she continued. "Everyone managed to escape except me. I was paralyzed with fear, perched on a shelf, and when I finally jumped, the water reached my chest. I managed to get out, but it was difficult because the door was partially closed, and the water current was extremely strong."
