04:18But as a singer, when did you start?

04:21I was still young, around 7 years old

04:25I was a product of singing contests before I became a director

04:29That's when I discovered

04:32I joined a singing contest and I auditioned

04:37That's when I got to know him

04:39After graduation, they remembered me

04:41I became a copywriter, then a writer, then a segment producer

04:47Then I became a director

04:49Now, I'm trying my luck as a singer

04:52So you're a contestant?

04:55Not really, but I guess I am

05:03What inspired you to write this song?

05:08As a director, I want to inspire other people

05:18I know a lot of people who I want to inspire

05:25When I became a director, I told myself, what's next?

05:29So I guess this is the purpose, this is what inspires me

05:33It also inspires other Filipinos

05:36That if they believe in themselves, they can do it

05:40Direct now, you wear many hats

05:42If you compare singing and directing

05:46Which is harder? Which is easier?

05:48What's the difference?

05:49Working behind the camera, it's also fun

05:54Because I get to experience the thrill of production

06:01As a director, it's also the closest thing I can get to as a singer

06:06Because I've worked with a lot of veteran singers

06:10Like Miss Regine, Sir Martin, Sir Gary, and everybody else

06:13I usually just do behind the scenes

06:16Like this is my song, this is the light, this is it

06:19Now, differentiating with the singer, I'm in front

06:23Just like what I'm seeing right now

06:26I now see from this perspective

06:28This right now, from front of the camera

06:31Nice, it's a good transition

06:36Because you know how it works

06:37Yes, but this doesn't mean that I'll stop what I'm doing

06:41I'm enjoying everything I'm doing, genuinely

06:46Since you mentioned that, what are your tips for aspiring artists as a singer

06:51And those who wanted to pursue production, behind the camera

06:54To become a director, to produce

06:56Well, for me, I can only say

06:59It's never too late

07:00You need determination and a strong heart

07:04You can do it as long as you believe in yourself

07:09And you believe that there's someone up there

07:12Who's looking at you

07:14And if he knows that you can do it

07:16And you believe in yourself, do it

07:19You gotta start somewhere and believe in your dream
