00:00Good morning, how are you?
00:03I'm on my way to a voting center.
00:06I think today is a very important day
00:09and that all of us who have the possibility
00:14and those of us who somehow feel like we have the duty
00:17and the responsibility to vote
00:20let's go out and do it.
00:22Let's exercise the right to vote,
00:24especially for citizens like me
00:28that we never had that possibility in our country,
00:32that it does not exist,
00:34it never existed and has not existed,
00:36the right to vote for what you consider
00:41that can be beneficial for the society in which you live.
00:47So it really is a privilege
00:50to have the opportunity to exercise,
00:54to have the right to vote.
00:56I feel fortunate to have made the decision
00:59to leave my country where there is a dictatorship
01:02for more than 65 years
01:04and to be here in this great nation
01:06embracing me and giving me the opportunity
01:09to have a new life.
01:10And today voting for whom I consider
01:13to be the President of the United States, you know.
01:17I have been satisfied for some time
01:20the joy of living in a free country
01:23where democracy exists and works.
01:26Thanks to this democracy,
01:28we have the legitimate right to vote.
01:32So one feels part of society,
01:36one feels happy for something
01:38that we could never do in our countries.
