00:07their statements recorded by the MACC regarding the 43.9 million ringgit investment losses
00:14linked to Kazana National Berhad and Permodalan National Berhad.
00:19Sources said that the couple arrived around 2pm on Tuesday and was accompanied by a lawyer.
00:26The anti-graft agency initiated an investigation into losses incurred by Kazana and PNB from
00:33their investment into Fashion Valley, a local online fashion business.
00:38MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azambaki was reported to have said that the company's founders
00:46would be called for questioning. The agency has so far called for witnesses from PNB Kazana
00:53and the Finance Ministry. MACC was also reported to have seized several documents as part of
01:00its investigation into the losses linked to Kazana and PNB. Vivi and Fadzaruddin had apologised
01:07over the losses and said they would step down from their positions in Fashion Valley.
01:12They said this was taken to prevent further controversy from affecting the company, which
01:16is currently in the recovery process.
