00:00Before the typhoon Marse could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility,
00:05several parts of Davao City were affected.
00:08The flooding in Panacan Barangay reached its peak last Saturday.
00:12Seven people were rescued in a covered court.
00:15According to the Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office,
00:19the flooding was caused by the thickness of the silt in the creek and the debris in the drainage.
00:24Garbage was removed and it was recommended to the barangay to remove the debris from the creek from the DPWH.
00:33In Talisay, Batangas, the landslide that hit Baguiong Christine,
00:37which was accompanied by President Marcos,
00:39in memory of more than 100 people in Baguiong Christine and León,
00:44on National Day of Mourning.
00:46The President also admitted that the government's flood control projects
00:50did not contain the significant impact of climate change.
00:53The President repeated to the DPWH and DNR the design of the roads and bridges.
01:00He also followed the DOST to look at the warning systems and communications in the DILG
01:05so that the LGUs can be informed more quickly.
01:11Our flood control is really overwhelming.
