00:26from delinquent employers

00:27who did not remit their employee's contribution

00:31from January to September this year.

00:33In the run-after contributions evaders or race campaign

00:37of the SSS Butuan City Branch,

00:38officials visited some of the alleged delinquent employers

00:42and gave a show-cause order

00:44and reminded them of the amount of money

00:47they need to remit to the SSS.

00:49According to SSS Butuan City Branch Head Perkins Calixto,

00:52the agency hopes to continue to protect the rights of employees

00:56and give them their due benefits.

00:59Those employers' delinquency, of course,

01:02that will deprive their employees to avail of the SSS benefits.

01:07Jemma Balansag, Social Executive Officer 2 of SSS Butuan,

01:11shared that only Php 7.9 million was paid to their employees

01:15from the total amount of Php 21.4 million.

01:19Effective value onwards,

01:21according to the employers themselves,

01:24compliance is allowed in 30 days.

01:26Those who fully paid are the outside 61, 18 employers.

01:30The rest of the unregistered employers were registered.

01:35The agency also asked the 3,773 delinquent employers of the city

01:40to immediately comply with the show-cause order

01:42and to avail of the installment payment

01:44and condonation of interest

01:45so that it will be easier for the employers to pay.

01:49That is why one of the purpose of the race

01:52or the run-after contribution evaders

01:55is to let them know what are the responsibilities of the employers

01:59as well as to interact with the employer as well as the employees

02:08The SSS also encouraged the employees to report their employment

02:16and the SSS will immediately act on it.
