Im animierten Kinderfilm Heidi - Rettung der Luchse muss die achtjährige Heidi endlich ihren zurückgezogenen Großvater dazu überreden, seinen ewigen Zwist mit dem Rest der Dorfgemeinde beizulegen. Denn es gilt, nicht nur ihr eigenes Zuhause vor einem gierigen Geldhai zu retten, sondern auch die Heimat einer Luchs-Familie, deren natürlicher Lebensraum in der Wildnis bedroht ist.
