In 1981, ABC-TV decided to resurrect its classic, 1965-1974 crime drama "The FBI," only this time starring Mike Connors (formerly of "Mannix"). Unfortunately, "Today's FBI" lasted for only 18 episodes. Its opening theme was by Elmer Bernstein.
