00:00Hi, I'm Jess Wilkes. I work for the Environmental Health Unit at the NSW EPA. So this is really
00:08important because if we want to take a holistic view of a catchment, we really need to understand
00:13how pollutants are moving around, how they might be entering the lake, and where they're
00:17coming from. So by sampling key locations around the lake, the idea is that we'll capture
00:23each of these catchments, and we'll be able to understand what kind of processes are going
00:28on within the catchment that might be contributing to pollution in the lake, which gives us a
00:31clearer picture of how we might need to improve lake quality.
