00:00So, let me guess.
00:04You think the Wolverines are going to give Oregon a game tomorrow at the big house and
00:08cover the piece?
00:10I think Michigan are either going to win the game outright or get absolutely lit up like
00:1541-14 or something like that.
00:17I get the feeling, Scott, there's no in between with this game.
00:21You know, this is sort of a mulligan on Michigan season, right?
00:25It's been a rocky season.
00:26I think a lot of people sort of expected this, to be honest, right?
00:29Their win total was eight and a half.
00:31They've got three losses right now, so they're sort of right on that cusp.
00:34But bro, their schedule is tough, Scott.
00:36They've got Indiana coming up.
00:38They still have to go to Columbus with Ohio State.
00:41So this thing can still get ugly in a hurry.
00:43The Ducks are the real deal.
00:44I have nothing critical to say about the Ducks.
00:46I'm a big Dan Lanning fan.
00:48They're good on defense.
00:49They're fast on offense.
00:51Dylan Gabriel is a very systematic, sort of surgeon-like quarterback.
00:56And that's my sort of concern here, Scott, with Michigan and the Duck game, that the
01:01Ducks have this, like, controlled passing attack, like it's the ultimate West Coast
01:05offense.
01:06He drops back.
01:07He gets rid of it so fast.
01:08They don't really throw bombs, right?
01:09It's just all quick, boom, boom, boom.
01:12You know, quick slants, quick hits, bubble screen, and it just gets their guys running
01:15the ball, and they pick up, like, chunks.
01:18So Michigan's going to have to find a way.
01:20You know, Wink Martindale, who I wasn't really a big fan of the hire, Scott, to be honest
01:24with Michigan, Wink Martindale is like 100 years old, and he's an NFL guy.
01:29So I don't know why he's the defensive coordinator to Michigan Wolverines.
01:33And it's pretty obvious.
01:34Everybody knows he freaking blitzes on every damn play, and people kind of know this.
01:39But with all that being stated, Scott, I think the Ducks are going to be in for a battle
01:43tomorrow.
01:45It gets harder to win as the season goes on.
01:48Trip to the big house.
01:49Now, we should know, they beat Ohio State in Columbus a few years ago.
01:53So maybe I'm just being a little bit optimistic here.
01:55But I think 14 and a half, Scott, is enough to get me to the window here with the Michigan
02:00Wolverines.
02:01And they're kind of playing with house money, right?
02:03They don't really have anything to lose playing at home here.
02:06But for Michigan to pull this off, Scott, to cover and, like, you know, to make this
02:10a close game, they need to play perfect football, and the Ducks need to be off.
02:16But if you've watched the Ducks this year, and I've watched every Duck game, they play
02:20to the point spread quite a lot.
02:21I know they tattooed Illinois last week, but the odds makers have the Ducks point spreads
02:27figured out, and a lot of their games sort of, like, come down right to the number.
02:31So we'll see if Michigan can hold up their end of the bargain on offense, Scott.
02:34But get me to 14 and a half.
