00:00A business process outsourcing, or BPO in Bataan, was denied by the authorities

00:06after the complaint of labor trafficking of several Filipinos.

00:10Aside from that, Salima, a referendum candidate, did not go out.

00:19In the visa of the search warrant,

00:21the AFP, PNP-CIDG, PAOK, and Bureau of Immigration discussed the Central One Bataan in Bagak, Bataan.

00:30We received a complaint from the Filipinos that they were victims of labor trafficking here.

00:37Now, there are also foreign nationals who are inside but cannot go out.

00:41Foreign nationals complain that they do not have the liberty to go out here and go around.

00:46I think there are indications of labor trafficking here because the movement of foreign nationals is controlled.

00:53The Filipinos complained because, first, they said that it is hard for them to work here because there is a lot of scamming.

01:0415 foreign nationals are the subject of the warrant, as well as the smuggling of 7 compounds.

01:10Computers, cellphones, and devices were seen in the work area of the BPO discussed here in Bagak, Bataan.

01:19But unlike the POGOs that were discussed before, most of the employees here are Filipinos.

01:27SIM cards and various gadgets were also obtained.

01:30All of this will go through the forensic examination of the authorities.

01:34This is a BPO, Business Process Outsourcing, and not an Internet Gaming Licensee.

01:40The BPO has permits from the local government and even from the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan.

01:47But the authorities said...

01:49It does not have a secondary permit from the PAGCOR.

01:53Although that is correct, it is a BPO and it was given a permit from the Investment Promotion Area.

02:03It still needs a secondary permit coming from the PAGCOR.

02:06When some computers were examined, they found the following items.

02:11Online scams. Primarily sports betting scams.

02:14All of these are denied by the CEO of Central One Bataan.

02:19Not true. We are running a business. We are complying to DOLE.

02:23Nothing to hide. We are just a business services support company.

02:28We don't do scams here.

02:31According to Central One Bataan, there are 1,500 employees.

02:35Ninety-five percent of them are Filipinos.

02:38One in five employees are in processing and profiling.

02:42Immigration status of foreigners is known.
