00:00I'm sure a lot of people were surprised when you announced baby number five.
00:08We were surprised too, actually.
00:11Mr. Canlas, was there anything planned for the five?
00:15No, it was not planned.
00:17But you know, our plan is always, sometimes it's the same,
00:23but more often than not, it's always different to God's plan.
00:26So yeah, no, we did not plan this.
00:28I'm 38 now, so I can't deny that even as I work out,
00:35there are fears that creep into my head that, you know,
00:38like your body might take things differently.
00:40It might be, it's going to be harder.
00:42It might be, well, I am already in high risk because I am past 35.
00:46So, you know, these fears creep in.
00:49Hello, updaters, and welcome to my podcast,
00:52Updated with Nelson Canlas, your source for the latest showbiz updates.
00:56It's Chika Minute.
00:57Dahil ang makakachikahan ko ngayon ay walang iba,
01:00kundi ang katuwang ko sa paghatid ng showbiz updates,
01:05ang aking co-anchor sa Chika Minute.
01:08Let's welcome my good friend, Miss Ia Villana-Aureliano.
01:15Applause, applause, applause.
01:21Alam mo, ito lang masasabi ko.
01:24We will try to not talk about the things that we talk about in the makeup room.
01:33Baka kasi madimanda kami, but yeah.
01:37Now, I'm turning the spotlight towards you
01:41because there was one day a few weeks ago.
01:47Ikaw ang laman ng Chika Minute dahil sa Mambo No. 5.
01:54Okay, fine. Sige, okay.
01:56Sa mga ganyang announcement, sige, tanggapin pa.
01:59Alam mo, hindi ko alam kung sasabing ko.
02:03Nagulat ako in a good way.
02:05I'm sure marami rin ang nagulat na when you announced Baby No. 5.
02:14Bati kami nagulat, actually.
02:16I mean, it was not planned, ganun?
02:19Miss Chika Canlas, may umaabot ba sa lima na planado?
02:24No, it was not planned.
02:26But, you know, our plan is always, sometimes it's the same,
02:32but more often than not, it's always different to God's plan.
02:35So, yeah, no, we did not plan this.
02:38But it was a good surprise, ano?
02:42Yes, it was. Sobra, sobra.
02:47But of course, you know, the thing with pregnancy is
02:51I go through all these anxieties and then I go through all these worries.
02:55Tapos I'm always so scared about delivery.
03:00How did Drew take the news na, oh, there's another baby on the way?
03:06Well, relief ko siya.
03:08Relief ko siya because every time when people would ask us,
03:12are you going to have more kids?
03:14And I'd always be like, well, there's no plan.
03:18But, you know, if ever we're, we'd welcome kung sahali.
03:22And then I'd always look at Drew and Drew would always be like,
03:25okay na tayo, okay na tayo sa apat.
03:27And I'd always tell him na, oh nga, okay na tayo sa apat.
03:31Unless you're tied or I'm tied, we never know what can happen, diba?
03:36Yeah.
03:37So when I had a feeling I was pregnant, I told him, I was like, love,
03:42I just want to let you know that I have a really strong feeling that I'm pregnant.
03:48Sabi niya, hindi yan, hindi yan.
03:53In denial pa eh.
03:55I'm like, okay, but I'm just letting you know.
03:57So, you know, kung sakali, I know that between the two of us,
04:00ako yung parang mas open yung ID with, you know, with having another.
04:07But, you know, I'm not sure how you feel about that.
04:10So I'm just letting you know so that you can cite yourself for that.
04:13Sabi niya, love.
04:14So I said, okay, okay lang kung meron.
04:17Sabi niya, love, kung meron, okay.
04:20Kung wala, okay pa rin.
04:23Sabi ko, okay, at least claro.
04:25Okay, and then here's the pregnancy test.
04:29We found out together.
04:31Okay.
04:32Sabi ko, love, dito natin moko-confirm.
04:35So, okay, again, kapag two clear lines, ibig sabihin, number five na to.
04:42Okay, so, woo!
04:44We both said, I was hiding it and then when we saw it,
04:47we were like, we just looked at each other and then we just started laughing
04:50and then we just gave each other a hug.
04:52Aw, that is so sweet.
04:54Yeah.
04:55Alam mo, nakakatua kayo.
04:58Kasi parang, of course, I mean, I have to be honest about this.
05:01I've seen a lot of couples na pag after three babies,
05:05they become problematic.
05:08Pero kayo parang, you're making babies look so glam.
05:17Ang glam-glam sa mga ID stories ko, no?
05:20Pero, anong expectations mo ngayon?
05:22Ngayong baby number five?
05:28When you say expectations, e kasi nandun palang ako sa panganak e.
05:33Iniisip ko pala yung, okay, I hope that, you know, when I deliver,
05:37I have no complications, I hope the baby has no complications.
05:40I hope that, because along with the delivery,
05:44the kind of delivery can also dictate the kind of recovery that you're gonna have.
05:50So, parang, nandun palang yung isip ko.
05:54Because until I get past, hindi ko rin masasabi,
05:57kung what it's gonna be like having the fifth baby.
06:00Like, I don't wanna build myself up na, okay, this is what it's gonna be like.
06:04You say, baka mami, it's not gonna be like that.
06:07And then, you know, I might go through, you know, a lot of depression
06:12if it's not gonna meet what I'm expecting.
06:15So right now, my mind is just open to, you know, these are all the possibilities.
06:20Yes, it scares me, but always just praying for the best and praying for God's favor.
06:27And, you know, of course, I'm hoping that all will go well.
06:34I hope that I'll be safe, baby will be safe, will be well.
06:39But I guess one thing that I can expect is that it's gonna be more full.
06:46Is it harder yung pregnancy mo ngayon as compared to, of course, when you were having primo?
06:55That it is harder. And I think it's inevitable.
06:58Kasi nga mas patanda na rin naman ako.
07:00I was 30 when I was pregnant with primo. I'm 38 now.
07:03No way! Totoo ba?
07:05Yaw! I'm 30!
07:08Alam mo naman, in my eyes, hindi ka tumatanda eh.
07:11Wow!
07:13You will always be 28 for me.
07:17In my head, actually, yung pag-iisip ko na sa 28 pa rin ako.
07:22But yeah, so that's the thing. Like, I'm 38 now, sir.
07:26Like, I can't deny that even as I work out, there are fears that creep into my head
07:33like your body might take things differently.
07:35It might be, it's gonna be harder.
07:37It might be, well, I am already in high risk because I am past 35.
07:41And once you're past 35, nasa high risk ka na.
07:45So, you know, these fears creep in.
07:48But, oh, and also my first trimester, all of those symptoms, the nausea, it was worse.
07:55Kasi ito yung talagang parang gusto kong subuka.
07:58Or hindi ko ma-iisip parang gusto kong kainin.
08:00Tapos yung gusto kong kainin, yung hindi ko dapat kinakain, which is kasi raw sushi or sashimi.
08:07So yeah, the first trimester was probably the hardest with this one.
08:14Alam natin na parang every time you get pregnant, you work out and you post it,
08:22you garner a lot of attention in social media.
08:25Kasi kahit malaki na yung tiyan mo, nag-workout ka pa rin.
08:29Actually, nakakatawa kasi akala ko kay Astro, wala na nga akong masyadong narinig.
08:35So, sabi ko, ah, okay, so I guess alam na nila.
08:38Siguro gets na nila.
08:40Kasi kay Prima, kay Leon, kay Elana.
08:42So, I was like, okay, ang ganda nila to.
08:45So, even with this one, I'm like, oh my God.
08:49Sa panglima, nag-react pasit. Nakakalimutan lang pa nila.
08:55But is it safe?
08:57I mean, if it wasn't safe, you'd think I'd be doing it.
09:01Exactly.
09:02But I've been doing it consistently through all my pregnancies.
09:07Not just for this one, but I did it with Elana.
09:10I did it with Astro. I did it with Leon. I did it with Prima.
09:14So, the reason why I'm doing it now is because it's what I know to do.
09:19It's what I've done in the past, even though as I do it now,
09:23it seems that my body still seems to be taking it well.
09:28So, it's like, why would I stop when if I stop, it would actually do me more than it would good.
09:36Because I'm strengthening my body and preparing myself for what's to come.
09:41Even through pregnancy, because there's more strain on the back.
09:46So, it's important that I keep my core and my back strong.
09:50It's important that I'm not just mothering this child in my belly, but I'm still a mother to four other kids.
09:59So, it's important that I stay strong.
10:01It's important that I'm sane.
10:04Because my workout is my me time.
10:07It's important that I have this me time so I can also be a better me, a better mom for my children.
10:14A better person in general.
10:17You have four kids. You saw that my kids are okay, right?
10:21Oh, and you know, I really feel that, you know, having the strength.
10:25Because it's really important that I built the strength before I got pregnant.
10:31So, I'd like to think I was strong before I even got pregnant.
10:35And so, the strength that I have is just the strength that I'm trying to maintain.
10:40Not that I'm even trying to build it further.
10:42I'm just trying to maintain it so that even as I baby this baby in my tummy, even when my kids are jumping,
10:50I can still do these things.
10:52Or if they want me to do things for them, I can still handle it.
10:56Because my body knows how to manage it.
11:02So, it's really not just for me, but it's for my family and for the baby that's to come.
11:08And it's not like you just started working out when you got pregnant.
11:12Exactly. Exactly.
11:14Which is why, you know, I really encourage those who want to have babies to prepare their bodies for it.
11:23Prepare their bodies.
11:26Because you don't understand the kind of endurance, the kind of patience,
11:31and the kind of strength they're going to need when you have kids.
11:36So, I really encourage for mommies in terms of strength.
11:40Not just mentally, not just with nutrition.
11:45Of course, nutrition really plays a big role.
11:48But I really encourage strength training.
11:52Primo, how did they take that they're going to have a new brother or sister?
11:58They're excited.
12:00They're excited because I think they enjoy each other's company.
12:06Because we didn't wait so long to have one after the other.
12:12You know, they're all kind of like the same.
12:15They can kind of keep up with each other.
12:18So, I guess they like the idea of having more of them.
12:23So, they're excited.
12:25But Primo is also scared for me because he knows.
12:30He kind of gets me.
12:31Oh, mama's going to go through delivery.
12:33She's going to go to the hospital.
12:35I guess he understands that it's something pretty major.
12:38So, he's a little scared.
12:39I hope mama's going to be okay.
12:41He's like that.
12:42He's like that?
12:43Yes, he's like that.
12:46Primo is a big boy now.
12:47Yes, he's a big brother.
12:51How is it being a mom of four kids?
12:56And of course, you still have work.
12:59You do a lot of things on the side.
13:03But you're raising four kids.
13:05And now five.
13:07It's hard.
13:09But I think it's a great time to have them.
13:17At a time when I still have the strength.
13:20I still have the endurance.
13:22So, I'm able to enjoy them so much more now.
13:26Because I can't imagine having them any later in my life.
13:29I'd probably be having a harder time.
13:31But I'm already grateful for the fitness that I have.
13:35Because I'd like to think that even years from now,
13:40I'd still be able to keep up.
13:42But right now, I can already feel like,
13:44Oh, it's getting tough, guys.
13:48The different things that I'm feeling in my body.
13:51Especially even through the pregnancies.
13:55I'm grateful to be where I am.
13:58And to have what I have.
14:00It's hard.
14:02But it's the joy.
14:04Every morning, when I wake up,
14:12I just look at my kids.
14:14And I already have so much to be grateful for.
14:16And that's really what's my day.
14:19And I love it.
14:20Because I start my day with a whole lot of gratitude.
14:23It's the joy.
14:24In the celebrity moms that I've interviewed before,
14:30they experience mom guilt when they're at work.
14:35And in your case, it's mom guilt times four.
14:41Actually, you know what?
14:42Because there are four of them, there's actually less guilt.
14:45They have each other.
14:47And you know what?
14:50I have to say that I've really been so blessed with the schedule that I have.
14:55Because it's allowed me to still have so much time with them.
14:59And it's funny because even with the little time that I'm away from them,
15:04they already feel it.
15:06And so when I come home, they're always like,
15:08Mom, mom, mom.
15:10I just got back from the gym.
15:13Even if I haven't spent a whole day away from them,
15:16I already feel it.
15:18It just goes to show the kind of bond and the kind of love that we have for each other.
15:23Because I really just love also being with them.
15:26And I'm enjoying these moments so much with them.
15:29And I just really want to cherish these moments.
15:31Because right now, they love being with Drew and I.
15:35We're like magnets in Drew's house.
15:38Wherever we go, we hide.
15:41I mean, not that we even have a big house.
15:45But if we might be in the living room or they'll be in another part of the house,
15:51they will all manage to find their way to us.
15:56And it's quite hilarious.
15:58But it's so nice that we really just genuinely enjoy being with each other.
16:04Yes, enjoy it now.
16:06Because before you know it, Primo is already in college.
16:09Before we know it, they're already going to school with us.
16:12Until now, they're still clingy to you.
16:14They already have their own lives.
16:16Exactly.
16:18Because I remember my brother.
16:22My brother has three kids.
16:24And he only has one left.
16:26And they're already an empty nester.
16:28He cannot imagine.
16:30Time flies.
16:32It's like that.
16:36You mentioned earlier about the importance of me time.
16:41Mommy time.
16:43I know you love your kids to the core.
16:46But is it also important to have time where you're just being yourself?
16:52Yes.
16:53And you're doing something for yourself.
16:57How do you plan this?
17:01Drew also has a schedule.
17:03And the kids all want to be with you.
17:06Well, my workout really is very important to me.
17:10But because there have been mornings where I need to stay home and help them,
17:18then I just adjust.
17:20And after their schoolwork, when they're busy doing their own thing,
17:24then I can also go off and do my own thing.
17:27So it really depends.
17:29As a mom, I've learned to also adjust.
17:32I accept that, okay, it looks like I won't be able to work out today.
17:36But I won't die if I don't work out.
17:38But I've just had to learn to adjust.
17:40And it's just something that being a mom has taught me.
17:46Are your kids independent or clingy?
17:49They're clingy, but they're also independent.
17:52Clingy in the sense that they just love to be with us.
17:55They love to be with us.
17:57But independent, they do things for themselves.
18:04So Drew trained them like that.
18:06Like, you have to get this for yourself.
18:09You have to prepare this for yourself.
18:11Yeah, yeah.
18:13Of course, our sisters at home know that they're there to help us.
18:18They'll help Primo and Leon.
18:22But eventually, when they reach an age,
18:24I feel like,
18:26Hey, hey, hey, wait a minute.
18:28You can do this.
18:30You get your own water, please.
18:32Hey, hey, hey, hey.
18:34So we have to tell the sisters,
18:36Sister Weng,
18:38let her do it.
18:40Sister Weng, she can do it.
18:42Because of course, our sisters also love our kids.
18:46Because they know to care and nurture them.
18:51So there is also a conscious effort
18:53that we all have to be on the same page now.
18:55Because it's also going to help them with their confidence.
19:00If you allow them to be independent.
19:02And you don't want them to go to someone else's house
19:06and expect someone else to get something for them.
19:10So it's something that we want them to get used to doing.
19:14That they can do things for themselves.
19:16It's funny, though, that there's also personality involved.
19:21Like Leon, he'll get a knife.
19:23He'll get his bread.
19:25He'll spread his own bread on his bread.
19:27Stuff like that.
19:29Or he'll even get me water.
19:32Not even just for himself,
19:34but he'll do things even for other people.
19:36Here, I got water for you.
19:39I got cocoa juice for you.
19:41I'm like, wow, love, I didn't even ask.
19:43But thank you, love.
19:45I'd really like to think that these are things
19:47that they can further develop.
19:49And will be good for them
19:51when they're already out on their own.
19:53How do you and Drew explain to them
19:57that we are celebrities at work.
20:01But of course, at home,
20:03you're not like that.
20:05How do you create the balance?
20:07When you're out, people stare at you.
20:09People take pictures of you.
20:11It's funny that we...
20:15Have we even really had a talk?
20:19About that with them.
20:21Because Drew and I are also very lucky
20:23to be in a place where
20:25we're not famous.
20:29So people don't really...
20:35I guess we don't really
20:37get people's attention.
20:39And also because the lifestyle that we have
20:41is one that allows us
20:43to still walk the street.
20:46You know, run around the area.
20:49So we're not...
20:51We're not so contained.
20:55When people see us out and about.
20:58So we actually still get to enjoy
21:00a pretty normal life.
21:02Drew and I always walk the street
21:04with our kids.
21:06So I feel that people don't...
21:08There are probably just a few people
21:10that will ask for pictures.
21:12But not enough that we can...
21:14Yeah, yeah.
21:16So we've never really
21:18had to sit down and explain.
21:20I think they get it.
21:22That, okay, well, you know, mom and papa
21:24work with TV.
21:26We will accommodate
21:28a few pictures here and there.
21:30But at the same time,
21:32especially when we're with the kids,
21:34we don't linger too much.
21:36Because of course, in the moment,
21:38our kids are more important.
21:40So we'll accommodate a few pictures
21:43and they'll be like, okay, okay.
21:45So yeah, I don't think
21:47it's enough for them to be like,
21:49what's happening, mama?
21:51Why is this happening?
21:53Not really.
21:55You know, one thing
21:57that you taught me
21:59and Drew,
22:01that I always struggle
22:03to always try
22:05every time
22:07is to sleep early
22:09and wake up early.
22:11You still do this?
22:13Like, you sleep at 9
22:15and you wake up at 5?
22:17Yes.
22:19Although Drew is earlier,
22:21he really sleeps at 8pm.
22:23By the time I get home from 24 hours,
22:25he's already asleep,
22:27including the three kids,
22:29Primo, Leon, and Nana.
22:31But yeah,
22:33we all wake up at around,
22:35Drew wakes up at around 4.30.
22:37I wake up at around 5.
22:40And yeah, we're
22:42really early risers, even the kids.
22:44What are the benefits
22:46that you can get out of it?
22:48I know
22:50there's a struggle there.
22:52But you know, you explained
22:54that to me before and I want people to hear it.
22:56You start your day ahead
22:58of everyone else.
23:00You're more alert in the morning.
23:02There's less of the day wasted.
23:04And
23:06a lot of it also is the,
23:08I don't even know if I'm saying it right,
23:10but Drew would always mention the
23:12circadian rhythm,
23:14which is when your body
23:16knows to wake up and
23:18go to sleep.
23:20And there's really
23:22a recovery
23:24process that your body
23:26learns when it sleeps
23:28at the right time, which is
23:30normally from your nap.
23:32Well, if you sleep for a good amount
23:34of time and you get better quality sleep,
23:36if you sleep at that specific time.
23:38Because I
23:40tried it for more
23:42than half a year.
23:44Of course,
23:46I couldn't do it because
23:48I get evening
23:50coverages.
23:52But what I
23:54learned out of it, what I get out of it
23:56is when you wake up at 4 or
23:585 in the morning and everybody's still asleep,
24:00you have plenty of time to
24:02think.
24:04It's like there's no light outside.
24:06Yes.
24:08And it's nice to
24:10be able to start
24:12the day like that,
24:14knowing that you still have
24:16the day to use
24:18up, rather than
24:20when you find your
24:22day is almost over,
24:24it's like you missed
24:26the time.
24:28When you find it later,
24:30whereas if you find it early in the day,
24:32I feel like
24:34you're already
24:36getting stuff done
24:38that others
24:40haven't even woken up yet.
24:42You don't mess it up when you start
24:44the day early.
24:46I actually was able to read
24:48the books that I wanted to read during those times
24:50when I tried it.
24:52And kudos to you,
24:54but I can't argue with that.
24:56Well, that's why
24:58it's important for me
25:00to sleep early. Because if I don't sleep
25:02early, I can't wake up
25:04early. And when I don't wake up early
25:06enough to pray,
25:08my goodness, I won't be able to pray
25:10for my kids.
25:14The 30-45 minutes
25:16that I should be praying
25:18will become 2 hours
25:20because I'll repeat
25:22my prayers because
25:24my kids are already talking to me.
25:26What am I saying?
25:28Yeah.
25:30For me, I feel like
25:32it's really nice quiet time in the morning
25:34and I feel it's such a good way
25:36to start my day.
25:38I'm really down to my last few questions,
25:40Ia.
25:42Let's make this really fun.
25:44Let's call it
25:46the Chika Minute Game.
25:48Give me an answer
25:50of 1-2 words.
25:52Oh my goodness.
25:54The Who.
25:56The Who.
26:02I will agree. I will agree to that.
26:12Spoilers.
26:14Actually, I'm also a spoiler.
26:20Also because
26:22I'm with the kids a lot,
26:24it's up to me
26:26whether or not
26:28to allow them to do something.
26:32Your kids are
26:34somewhat famous
26:36in a way, right?
26:38Of course, they get commercials and all.
26:40How do you explain it to them
26:42that you're just doing commercials,
26:44you're a celebrity,
26:46you're this and that?
26:48No, they don't.
26:50We haven't had to explain anything.
26:52We just know that it's just work.
26:54It's just work.
26:56Of course, I'll just get surprised.
26:58How come he knows my name?
27:00I'll just tell him,
27:02Oh, look,
27:04I saw you on my Instagram.
27:06Or maybe they've seen you
27:08when you did work with Papa
27:10for Viajes.
27:12The Who to your kids
27:14is Mama's Boy or Mama's Girl?
27:16You know, right now,
27:18Leon is Mama's Boy.
27:20It's funny, right?
27:24Actually, it's Dudoy,
27:26Astro.
27:28I would think he would've given it
27:30because he's the youngest.
27:32But not for long, Dudoy.
27:38Every time he asks me to carry him,
27:40I'm like, okay, come, Dudoy.
27:42You still have me.
27:44The Who to your kids
27:46is Pilio or Pilia?
27:48It's Leon.
27:50No wonder.
27:52He's compensating.
27:54He knows how to play you.
27:56Actually,
27:58he doesn't know how to play me.
28:02I'm laughing at him.
28:04It's really just in his personality.
28:06You know, he has a lot of different
28:08orders.
28:10He has a lot of different orders.
28:12But yeah, he's actually
28:14very playful,
28:16very silly in his ways.
28:18Is he the closest
28:20to your personality?
28:22Or to Drew?
28:24Primo is my personality.
28:26Leon is my personality as a kid.
28:28Wow.
28:30Okay.
28:32The Who to you and Drew
28:34is the one who usually fights?
28:36Who?
28:38Everyone.
28:40Probably me.
28:42You're the girl.
28:44I'm the one who has a lot of hormonal imbalance.
28:48Blame it on the hormones.
28:50Blame it on the hormones.
28:52Of course, you're also one of the
28:54mixed VJs.
28:56The Who is
28:58your closest mixed VJ.
29:00Nikki Hill.
29:02Nikki, oh yeah.
29:04Yeah, Nikki.
29:06Actually, she's the closest
29:08to Luis, to Bianca,
29:10to Chino.
29:12So yeah.
29:14We were really a family.
29:16So we were all pretty close.
29:18But as a best friend,
29:20Nikki Hill was
29:22really my closest.
29:24And for me,
29:26she's the golden batch for me.
29:28Wow.
29:30I feel so old now when people tell me,
29:32Oh my gosh, VJia.
29:34You're my favorite VJ in grade school.
29:36I'm like, wow.
29:38Wow. I'm still in grade school.
29:40We're the same age.
29:42I just started to work early.
29:44I will turn the tables
29:46around, Ia.
29:48For my last question.
29:50You're the one who will ask me
29:52a question.
29:54Oh my goodness. Did I prepare this?
29:56Of course, it's impromptu.
29:58Okay.
30:00Wait a minute.
30:02Nelson Canlas.
30:04Okay, okay.
30:06The one that we can't issue.
30:08In all of your
30:10interviews
30:12with local stars,
30:16who do you
30:18get confused the most?
30:20Confused?
30:22In what way?
30:24It's up to you.
30:26Confused because
30:28this person turned out to be
30:30so much more than what you expected
30:32or
30:34or
30:36he's just different
30:38in the eyes of other people.
30:40But you're like,
30:42he's like this.
30:44It's confusing.
30:46I get starstruck, really.
30:48Until now. I don't know why.
30:50But when
30:52I interview him,
30:54I feel like I'm a reporter.
30:56Really?
30:58It's confusing.
31:00As an interviewer,
31:02it's like, okay,
31:04I'll just do my work. But when it's Leia,
31:06there are jitters.
31:08Oh my God.
31:10And that's as a fan.
31:14Is that right?
31:16You also get the jitters because as a fan,
31:18you're interviewing her
31:20as a reporter
31:22but also as a fan.
31:24Okay, and does she...
31:26It's hard.
31:28As a fan, you expect so much.
31:30It's hard.
31:32Are you afraid of being disappointed?
31:34It's hard because you're afraid.
31:36Yes.
31:38Now, as for Alio Alio,
31:40I mean,
31:42Marian Heart,
31:44Ding Dong,
31:46Alden,
31:48they're fun to interview because
31:50you know,
31:52even if they're already stars,
31:54they'll give you
31:56a low filter.
31:58It's like that. And it's funny.
32:00But the funny thing is,
32:02I always interview Hardin Budol.
32:06It's true.
32:08I don't need to explain why.
32:10It's true.
32:12You know, she's good at
32:14getting interviews now.
32:16Unlike before,
32:18you need to bleep.
32:20Yeah.
32:22She really just
32:24makes her mind.
32:26She really just makes her mind.
32:28Why did I say that?
32:32Those are my tops.
32:36And you, you know,
32:38when I interview you,
32:40in our lifetime,
32:42I might interview you 4-5 times.
32:44Mostly during the pandemic.
32:50Actually, there was one.
32:52Because you had to sign
32:54a contract.
32:56A GMA contract.
32:58Not in the studio.
33:00Drew had to ride a motorcycle to see you.
33:02That was such a long time ago.
33:06Oh my gosh.
33:08And it's funny that
33:10until now, we're still friends.
33:16But I also want to say, Nelson,
33:18that the reason also why
33:20a lot of these celebrities
33:22give you what
33:24not just what you need,
33:26but they give you more,
33:28because it's also how you make them feel.
33:32Oh my gosh.
33:34It's a talent.
33:36It's really a skill.
33:38And it's really a talent.
33:40And not everyone has it.
33:42Even if everyone wants to be able to do it,
33:44not everyone has it.
33:46So it's really a gift that you have.
33:48That you can make people feel this way
33:50which is why it makes it easy for them to give.
33:52Yeah. Thank you.
33:54Thank you so very much.
33:56And like I said, you're not just
33:58a co-anchor.
34:00You're also a friend.
34:02And I really treasure our friendship.
34:04Thank you, thank you, thank you very much.
34:06Thank you so much, Mr. Canlas.
34:08It's always a pleasure for me to intro
34:10all of your items here on Chika Minutes.
