00:00After the confession of former President Rodrigo Duterte about his involvement in the war on drugs,

00:07what can the Senate do?

00:10This is what Professor Antonio Contreras will discuss in Punto de Vista, Professor.

00:15When we talk about extrajudicial killing, we also have what we call extrajudicial confession.

00:30And this is what happened during the Senate hearing.

00:34Former President Duterte almost confessed.

00:39But what's different from extrajudicial confession is that the former president admitted it because he did it under oath.

00:50So what are we going to do about the evidence that was found in the hearing?

00:55Maybe it's time for the Department of Justice to investigate the case.

01:03So that the cases in our court can be investigated.

01:07Otherwise, we will continue to question the truth.

01:13For example, a lot of people are saying that the Senate should give the transcript to the ICC.

01:32From my point of view, the Philippines should be the first.

01:36What are we waiting for?

01:38There is the confession under oath.

01:44That the police were really ordered, convinced, or encouraged to give guns.

01:51Or that there was an opportunity to fight an accused or arrested person.
