00:00Carol, we're standing here in the Tabari Museum, great exhibition, lots of things to see in here.
00:07Tell me about this room that we're standing in front of at the moment.
00:11This is the Milshimer room. Jack Nicholson's wife, Dotty, was related to the Milshimer girls
00:21and they never had any family, they were never married, they never had children, they were
00:24dedicated to the Salvation Army and when they died they bequeathed their whole house to Jack.
00:32So Jack brought what he figured would sit in here nicely as a display of their home.
00:37Very impressive. I've just walked in here for the first time and I'm stunned. You just look around
00:44and you find little, you know, little sections here and there. What makes this museum so special,
00:49Cheryl? I think because it's a collection of one person, Jack. All his life he came across,
00:56he was born in Kent in the UK and he came across as an 11-year-old, could have been a bit younger,
01:02and then he headed up north as a cattleman and he just did so many things in his life
01:08and collected wherever he went. And of course you're talking about Jack Nicholson.
01:13Not the actor. No, no, no, that's Jack Thompson. No, that's the Australian. But yeah, it's
01:21something that, you know, I must admit I've driven past the museum many times,
01:26not even thought about coming in, but people should just come in and check it out, shouldn't they?
01:30Absolutely. From the road it doesn't look much, it looks like one building, but we've got six rooms.
01:35Kind of like the TARDIS. A lot of history, you know, yeah, we call them wet specimens with all the
01:42spiders and oncology over here, and the bottle room and the telecom room. There's a specialty
01:48in each room and the war memorabilia. Come in and drop in. Absolutely. Thank you for that,
01:54Cheryl. You're welcome. Exciting. Thank you.
