00:00Megan the stallion has called out the big guns in court
00:03She is going after someone who's had a lot to say about Megan over the last few years
00:09Some of it relating to the Tory Lanez case and some of it just being images that that Megan is
00:16offended by and says that they're defamatory including
00:19Deep fake porn images that she says in this lawsuit that she says this blogger has been posting the bloggers name
00:27Is Milagro Cooper, she actually posts things under Milagro grams
00:33and
00:34Megan just said enough is enough and it's clear
00:37This has been some of the things that she's referencing in this lawsuit go back years
00:43And yet she's bringing it all up now, and there's good reason for that
00:47So first here are some of the allegations in the lawsuit
00:50She spends a lot of time talking about things that happened during the Tory Lanez trial
00:55This blogger was either in court or was just
00:59Reading things online and posting it as it was happening during the during the case
01:03Some of those tweets that are mentioned in the in the lawsuit
01:08This one where she's referring to Megan's friend Kelsey said Kelsey spoke to prosecutors and told them one thing
01:14But today she says she lied
01:17Kelsey says she never saw Tory pull a gun on Megan or shoot her. Well, hold on. That's that's not defamatory
01:24Against Megan, right?
01:26And then she said this according to recently filed paperwork in the Tory Lanez case the gun and bullet fragments associated with the crime have gone
01:33missing
01:34Megan points out in the lawsuit that is
01:38Misinformation it came out in the trial that the police had that evidence by the way
01:42I'm not so that I'm not siding with the blogger, but that's not true on that stuff. That's not hold on. Hold on
01:46Yeah, I know. I know you're gonna say it's not just for defamation
01:50The defamation is the porn images which we can't that's right. That's right. This is misinformation that says she's putting out there
01:57I just don't that was very clearly but you say misinformation. It's not actionable not actionable, right? Interesting
02:02Okay, the real issue here is that she apparently has created or has spread not created but spread these fake AI
02:10Generated images that very much looked like Megan having sex with people that or at least in the nude and those are the real problems
02:17You know Jason this has come up before as well and this is kind of an emerging sometimes, you know, it's really interesting
02:25When I taught law school one of the things that we always talked about
02:29That I always talked about with my classes was how the law has to catch up with technology
02:36because the law only goes as far as what you know at the time the law has passed and
02:41With this emerging technology, it feels like technology is now ahead of the law and the law needs to catch up
02:48Yeah, I know the a hundred percent right Harvey, especially on the issue of technology
02:51We were we've been dealing with this now
02:53I'm practicing for a couple decades now and they absolutely we were catching up with the Internet once upon a time
02:57because like even like
03:00You know liability laws talked about if you publish things in newspapers
03:03But they didn't specify you publishing in a digital website because it was never contemplated
03:07The law caught up with that the law will kind of catch up with this too
03:11But to your point we're in this middle ground where it's not there yet
03:14And it's gonna be difficult for the courts to interpret exactly what's illegal and what's not
03:17I definitely think it's an evasion of privacy and if Megan wants to pursue it she should I mean
03:23You can't just go around saying things that are not true
03:26But I think that Megan probably felt and her team probably felt that
03:31Currently watch Cardi B do this a couple years ago with a blogger named Tasha K
03:35Who a lot of people didn't know before that and you're firing a shot over the bow, right?
03:40And they feel like all right, we want other bloggers to be on notice that we will sue right
