00:00The ship Amerigo Vespucci and the Villaggio Italia have left Singapore after 5 days in which the Villaggio Italia has been visited by 45,000 people, while 22,000 have also boarded the school ship of the military navy.
00:19Yes, because this ship brings the excellence of Made in Italy to a friendly, allied country with a great history like Singapore.
00:25It is the whole meaning of this mission, to create bridges between cultures, between countries and friends, showing the best of Italy in the world.
00:34This ship with its history, 93 years, its crew, this long mission is like everything that our country can do.
00:43The design, the fashion, the industry, the food, the wine, I think it's a perfect combination.
00:49This ship is an ambassador of Made in Italy in the world and every port it touches brings a bit of Italianness with it.
00:56The stopover in Singapore was inaugurated by the vice-minister of Made in Italy, Valentino Valentini.
01:02Not only do we bring Italy and what it represents, but with the Villaggio Italia we bring the Italian experience.
01:08And this serves not only as a message of friendship and collaboration, but it serves to further promote the mutual investments that are currently taking place on both sides of the oceans.
01:23With the stopover in Singapore, including the stopovers in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Darwin,
01:27the total number of those who visited the Villaggio Italia exceeded 200,000, of which more than 100,000 boarded the ship in Merigo Vespucci.
01:35An extraordinary balance, from all points of view.
01:38The ship has done things that no other ship has done in its 93 years of life.
01:43For example, the passage to Cap Horn.
01:45Not only that, it has formed two courses of official students, last year and this year,
01:51who have had an extraordinary experience that they will enjoy for the rest of their lives.
01:54So, is it worth it? Certainly yes.
01:57Was it tiring? Certainly yes.
01:59Will we do it again? Certainly yes.
02:01The ship Merigo Vespucci and the Villaggio Italia will now make a route to Balawan in Indonesia
02:06and then to Phuket in Thailand, and then to go to India in Mumbai.
02:10The Villaggio continues to be an itinerant mini-expo,
02:13it is enriched by a new function, which is that of the platform.
02:17It is a platform because from Italy, and not only,
02:21they begin to ask us to use the Villaggio Italia to promote further initiatives.
02:31So it becomes a multiplier, a multiplier of contacts,
02:37a multiplier of excellence that we are going to project into the world.
02:43So we are very happy because it was one of the goals that we had from the beginning.
