00:00Donald Trump has no character.
00:02He doesn't give a damn about the Latino community.
00:04He's a failed businessman.
00:06He only cares about the billionaire friends he has and accumulating wealth for those at
00:10the top.
00:11You know, he says immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country.
00:14Give me a break.
00:15He wants to do away with the birthright citizenship.
00:18Who the hell has said that in the last 100 years?
00:21And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage.
00:26Well, let me tell you something.
00:28I don't, I don't know the Puerto Rican that I know or Puerto Rico where I'm in my home
00:34state of Delaware.
00:35They're good, decent, honorable people.
00:38The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.
00:42His demonization is seen as unconscionable and it's un-American.
00:46It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been.
00:49First of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear, I strongly disagree with
00:56any criticism of people based on who they vote for.
01:02You heard my speech last night and continuously throughout my career.
01:07I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people, whether they
01:13support me or not.
01:14And as president of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans, whether
01:19you vote for me or not.
01:20That is my responsibility and that's the kind of work that I've done my entire career and
01:25I take it very seriously.
01:26Have you spoken to him about his comments and his intentions?
01:29He did call me last night, but this didn't come up.
01:32Are you concerned about what impact this may have on voters, on the divisiveness of the
01:37election and whether or not it's going to dissuade some people from supporting you because
01:42of your affiliation with the president of this administration?
01:44I've been very clear with the American public.
01:47I respect the challenges that people face.
01:52I respect the fact that we all have so much more in common than what separates us and
01:58that most people want a president that understands that, that gets that, and approaches their
02:03role of leadership.
02:04That way, I've been very clear from my earliest years as a prosecutor.
