00:00A resident in Davao del Norte was killed after eating dog meat.

00:06Based on the findings of the Rural Health Unit,

00:09viral encephalitis is the cause of death due to rabies.

00:13On October 24, the said resident visited the R.H.U. and was told to eat Azucena.

00:20He was immediately taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with rabies.

00:25The R.H.U. conducted a contact tracing of his relatives.

00:31They also conducted a mass vaccination of the dogs.
