The coach has included a surprise name for a Wales call up, a player that not many would’ve expect to see in the list of names.

00:08The 6ft4 lock was one of the 35 lucky players to be selected in Warren Gatland's party for
00:14the upcoming Autumn Internationals.
00:16He and Scotland's winger Blair Murray are the only players in the squad without a cap
00:21at Test level.
00:22Thomas has been part of an exciting Cherry and Whites team that features a total of five
00:27players in the Wales collective.
00:29The 22-year-old had previously decided that if he had the opportunity, he would represent
00:34Wales at international level.
00:36Thomas had previously played for England in the under-18s and under-20s.
00:41Speaking about whether he had any idea of getting the call-up, he revealed he genuinely
00:46didn't know.
00:47I had no inkling, he said.
00:50It was something I was aiming for in the next couple of years, but my sole focus is to play
00:54well for Gloucester and I have been enjoying my rugby.
