00:00The Philippine National Police is now on a heightened alert as they are still preparing for the Undas.

00:09To make the Undas more peaceful this year,
00:13the Philippine National Police or PNP increased the number of police they will send.
00:19According to the PNP spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jane Fajardo,
00:23from the initial of more than 18,000 police,
00:26they will deploy more than 21,000 police.
00:30They will target different cemeteries, public places, bus terminals, seaports, airports, and other public places.
00:40With the deployment of EDDs or K-9s to help secure the luggage,
00:50to help the management of transport terminals to ensure the safety and security of those who will travel to the Undas.
00:59Despite the increased force that was deployed,
01:02the PNP clarified that they do not have a monitoring team for the Undas.

01:32On the other hand, Fajardo said that since yesterday, they have increased their alert to a heightened alert.
01:39This means that 75% of their forces have been deployed.
01:44The PNP instructed the regional directors to increase their alert to their respective areas
