As Catherine races to uncover the writer’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys both her own life and her relationships with her husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and their son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee). The ensemble cast includes Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Hoyeon, and features Indira Varma as the narrator.

00:00You see the mask drop, you see all of the social niceties drop,
00:03you see the essential fears and motivations.
00:07The world needs to know who Catherine Ravenscroft really is.
00:13This has to stop!
00:21Cathy, we need to talk.
00:22It's very difficult to have a conversation
00:25when there are two sides that are not willing to try to understand each other.
00:30The man you had been investigating turns up here with a book he has written
00:33and he tells Jisoo that you are part of the story.
00:35I mean, what's in this book anyway, Cathy? Some kind of confession?
00:38Oftentimes, I think we ask questions when we think we know the answers
00:41rather than to find out what the answer is.
00:43I don't have to explain myself to you or you.
00:46Jisoo admires Catherine a lot,
00:50but she was conscious to other people's opinion
00:54that she might be cancelled
00:57because of the fact that Catherine did something wrong.
01:00You're a liar.
01:01What? I asked you because I trusted you.
01:05Stop. Don't take this out on Jisoo. She's not the one who needs to defend herself.
01:08You see the mask drop, you see all of the social niceties drop,
01:11you see the essential fears and motivations,
01:15and also what she will die to protect.
01:17You've not been honest with us.
01:19Okay.
01:19And that worries me. I mean, it jeopardizes the reputation of the whole team.
01:23You go from a shared quotidian history with these characters…
01:27I'm sure it'd be better if you just came clean about it.
01:29Get your f***ing hands off me!
01:31…and then all of that gets blown out of the water.
01:34You are so cancelled, Catherine!
01:38Are you okay, Simon?
