00:06I honestly don't know.

00:08It was an argument over roadworks.

00:10Well, I've obviously seen the footage like everyone else.

00:13I haven't seen the wider context, the police investigating.

00:16And I think it's right that both the Labour Party have suspended

00:20Mike Amesbury while the investigation takes place.

00:23And crucially, that we give the police the space

00:25to do their work and decide what action, if any, needs to be taken.

00:27The leader went further yesterday.

00:28He said it was shocking.

00:29What did you think when you saw it?

00:32I think that combination, I'm shocked.

00:35And I also feel really sad because this is not something

00:41I would have expected from Mike.

00:44And when you work with someone closely

00:47and you like someone very much, it's kind of hard to see

00:50and see the image flash up on the screen.

00:52I know you don't want to put it out there.

00:54I don't want to, in any way, excuse or justify the behaviour.

00:57And I don't know the context, obviously.

00:58And it's right the police do their work
