American animator, director, producer, writer and illustrator, Tim Burton was honored with the 2,788th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6600 Hollywood Boulevard, appropriately in front of Hollywood Toys & Costumes. Burton received his star in the category of Motion Pictures. Guest Speakers included Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton, co-stars of Burton's Beetlejuice films as well as other leads of some of his other iconic movies such as Ryder as Kim in Edward Scissorhands , and Keaton as Batman in Batman in Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns .
