00:00Alright, welcome to Problem Child on CFPB 101.9. I am your host, J.P. Meldrum.
00:07Problem Child is your home on CFPB for the underrated, the offbeat, the obscure, the underheard, the experimental.
00:15I just talked to someone today and they're like, what do you mean by experimental?
00:18I'm like, man, I have no idea what to say. It could be anything, really.
00:21There must be lights burning brighter somewhere.
00:28I know it begs the question of like, what is music, I suppose.
00:33It's a classic sort of heavy question. What is music?
00:36If I can dream of a better land where all my brothers walk hand in hand.
00:44Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true?
00:55Oh why?
00:58Then you go, oh, isn't that pretentious nonsense? Or then you go, wow, isn't that cool?
01:03That's great. It's exciting. It's something new. It's a different way of approaching things.
01:08And I think both of those ways of looking at this kind of music are, they're both kind of elitist.
01:13And that's why I subscribe and commit to complete pure joy when it comes to music.
01:19I'm like, do I like it? Gut shot. Is it good?
01:21And maybe you could accuse me of being a secret fan in that regard, but otherwise.
01:25Out there in the dark, there's a beckoning candle.
01:32Yeah, well I can think, well I can talk, well I can stand, well I can walk,
01:41well I can dream, please let my dream come true.
01:56Right now, let it come true right now.
02:11Let it come true right now.
