00:00The Office of Civil Defense or OCD brought assistance to those affected by the Christine storm in the Carraga Region.

00:06The details are reported by Jennifer Peña-Gaytano of the Philippine Information Agency, Carraga.

00:14Although the Tropical Storm Christine had the same effect in some parts of the Carraga Region,

00:19the Office of Civil Defense Carraga still provided assistance to those affected by the storm in Region 5.

00:25Around 1,500 non-food items were delivered by the Office of Civil Defense Carraga by Air Force C-130 aircraft until morning.

00:33These are hygiene kits that can be used by families affected by the Christine storm in Bicol.

00:39According to OIC Lorraine Catedral of OCD Carraga,

00:42this is part of the humanitarian assistance and disaster response efforts of NDRMC and OCD

00:48under the leadership of Secretary of National Defense and NDRMC Chair Gilbert Chodoro Jr.

00:53and Civil Defense Administrator and NDRMC Executive Director Usec Ariel Nepomuceno.

00:59The Office of Civil Defense Carraga Regional Office provides relief augmentation support in terms of 1,500 family hygiene kits

01:07to sustain the humanitarian assistance and disaster response efforts of OCD Region 5,

01:13which is affected by Tropical Cyclone Christine.

01:16This can help the families affected by the said storm in the region.

01:21Diana Lim, Operations Chief of OCD Carraga, also shared that there are 147 barangays, 15,291 families,

01:29and 64,902 individuals affected by Tropical Cyclone Christine in the region.

01:35OCD Carraga agreed to continue monitoring the affected areas and they are ready to provide assistance.
