00:00The government distributed P130 million for the victims of the Christine typhoon in Bicol Region.
00:08President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the government has a system to help all the victims of the typhoon.
00:16This is the national news of Clayzel Fardilla.
00:21President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. added additional aid to the victims of the Christine typhoon.
00:29P130 million was distributed for financial aid to the province of Albay, Camarinesur, and Bayan ng Naga
00:38who were severely affected by the Christine typhoon.
00:41We have a system to help all the victims. And all of that is in place.
00:48President R. Marcos Jr. sent aid from Metro Manila to Bicol Region using the C-130.
00:56It is a satellite to have a communication line, generator set, and water filtration
01:01that will temporarily supply electricity and clean water.
01:05Toneto also delivered processed meat products and 1,000 boxes of canned goods from private companies.
01:12In addition to this, 1,000 food packs and hygiene kits were distributed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
01:18National Food Authority sent four truckloads of rice to the victims of the typhoon.
01:24President R. Marcos Jr. promised to provide the most necessary aid to the victims of the calamity
01:30and to continue the rescue operation for those who were trapped in floods and landslides.
01:34There are other places that are still being rescued.
01:38But of course, those in the evacuation centers that are being given relief goods,
01:44cash benefits have already started to be given so that the people can go home.
01:54When they go home, they have money for their needs.
01:59But we will continue to provide them with food packs until they can cook for themselves.
02:09The President also ordered the addition of medical teams to Bicol.
02:13Public hospitals in Nagas City are still open, but most of them are deployed in evacuation centers.
02:21The government assured that the supply of medicines is enough.

02:51The health department promised to give P142 million pesos in medical aid to the victims of the typhoon.

03:14According to the DSWD, more than P327 million pesos of aid has been distributed to different regions of the country.
03:23Currently, more than 1.7 million families are affected by the typhoon from 10,222 barangays.
03:31According to the DSWD, more than P237 million pesos of aid has been distributed for food and non-food items,
03:46and more than P203 million pesos of standby funds.
