00:00Having gone ahead twice, do you feel disappointed, frustrated with the performance overall?
00:10Very proud of the team, especially with the situation that we are going through at the
00:15moment and probably that we cannot imagine. But overall I think especially at the first
00:19time it was a total domination. I think we were really, really good, really sharp, really
00:23efficient, really determined and the result probably should have been bigger. And then
00:29without considering nothing basically we gave two goals away, which is the disappointing
00:33part and the fact that we could not see the game off, especially looking at ourselves
00:40for two things that we didn't do particularly well, and obviously about other aspects.
00:44Could you have snatched one at the end? Do you think that was unfairly ruled out?
00:51I prefer not to comment.
00:53How big an impact is the changes in the defence?
01:02I don't know. It's what it is. Obviously we had five injuries in the back line. We have
01:08to adapt to it and we'll continue to adapt. It's a situation that we have. Support them,
01:14praise the players because the courage that they played today was unbelievable. And keep
01:18going.
01:20Given the circumstances of the injuries and the changes to the back line, how do you view
01:25the point? Is it too dropped in your eyes?
01:29Yeah, very disappointed. I'm really disappointed that we haven't won the game today because
01:32I think we were better, but especially because in two things that we had to do a bit better
01:37we didn't and some other stuff obviously.
01:41I don't think he's ever missed two Premier League games in a row in his entire Arsenal
01:48career due to injury. How much does that tell you about his consistency, but the fact that
01:52Jürgen coming back as well, that your players fought really hard to get back for a game
01:56like this?
01:57It's his consistency, the fact that he's very young as well and he's been very lucky with
02:01injuries and hopefully continues to be there. But after a few weeks off, the way he played,
02:06the way he competed, he was exceptional. I think we had some big, big individual performances
02:11today like the team.
02:13Just on Jürgen going off, we asked yesterday about taking risks for players. Was he one
02:20that you took a risk and has that backfired a bit with him coming off?
02:23Well, I think we've done everything that we possibly could to accelerate that process
02:28and he was so willing. The team, the medical staff has done an amazing work and we gave
02:34ourselves the chance to compete. I don't know the extent of the injury. If there is
02:38one, the same with Big Gabi. But, yeah, continue to go.
02:42Virgil van Dijk was involved in an early incident with Kai Havertz, which I'm not sure if the
02:48AR looked at it. Did you see it?
02:50I haven't seen the replay, no.
02:52What was the issue with Big Gabi?
02:57I don't know, but he could not run. That's why he said it straight away. So I don't know
03:00what happened. I don't know if it's the knee joint or the ankle. They are assessing him
03:06right now, so...
03:09Ed Garnier?
03:10Hi, Mikel. Just one more thing. Any other issues with some of the referees' decisions
03:15today, like there was a penalty potentially in the first half?
03:19Prefer not to comment.
03:21Sorry.
03:23Same question. Amy, I'll take it.
03:25Hi, Mikel. You just said that the situation you're going through is like you couldn't
03:29imagine. Do you feel a bit like nothing's going through?
03:32No. This is football, you know, circumstances that are going to make us better, and they
03:38are making us better. So if we are able to be where we are and compete in the manner
03:43that we do, and I see the team, and I had no doubt three days before I think I told
03:47you we were going to be flying on Sunday, and we started flying and we were the better
03:52team by far. But, yeah, we needed to grab the points today to make a reflection on where
03:57we are and what we want to be. We couldn't do it, but for sure we are there.
04:02Can I also ask if you feel that maybe you're running a bit out of puff in the second half,
04:06that playing so many games in ten minutes kind of catches up with you a bit maybe?
04:10Well, I don't know. I think I'm more disappointed and frustrated about one thing that we didn't
04:15do, that we had to do in the second half. But, yeah, on the physical part, we look at
04:20all the stats. The stats are not dropping. We had better stats in the second half in
04:24many games, especially individually. So, I'm positive. Michael, for example, hasn't
04:28played 90 minutes for, I don't know, five months probably, since the Euros or whatever.
04:33So, a lot of positive things to take and carry on going.
04:36OK, last two now. James ESPN.
04:38Michael, it's five points now to City. I mean, it's only nine games in. How relevant is that gap at the moment?
04:46Well, you don't want to be in that position when you're five points ahead, but this is
04:50where we are. And, again, I think the team is alive. The team wants it. I feel it every
04:57single day. The players that cannot play, they're upset that they are not playing.
05:01The ones that get injured, the ones that are there, they're in a good moment. So,
05:05things will turn up and we're going to be in a better place, but we are certainly there.
05:09OK, finally, we'll go to James from CBS.
05:11I know you don't want to comment too much on the incident in the last week.
05:14Have you been told what the foul was going for, Kivi or Havertz?
05:19No, no, nothing.
05:20I mean, are you going to try and get an answer on that?
05:23Well, I'm sure that we will have a clarity or a letter afterwards, but I don't know.
05:27OK, what was the one thing that you didn't do that you should have done?
05:32I'll keep that for myself. Sorry about that. Thank you so much, guys.
