00:00R.C.F.T. Game of the Week is in College Station tonight. It's just a point and a half spread
00:08in favor of Texas A&M at home. Connor Wigman back as the starting quarterback for the Aggies
00:14with mixed results this year. Three touchdown passes, the five interceptions in the two starts
00:20he has made against FBS opponents. He has thrown multiple INTs. Garrett Nussmeyer on the other side
00:27for LSU. A little bit inconsistent as of late. Last week less than 240 through the air. First
00:33time this year he has had less than 285 passing yards. Lacey as you break down this matchup what
00:39can we expect to see from the quarterbacks tonight at Kyle Field? Well I think if you're LSU and
00:44Garrett Nussmeyer you want to get through that 275 and a half because you have multiple weapons
00:48and that's how your offense is built averaging around 337 passing yards per game. We've seen
00:54inconsistency over the past couple of weeks from Connor Wigman. Two interceptions last week they
01:00get the 10-point win over Miss State. No cover. You want to put the pressure even though you're on
01:05the road on Connor Wigman to match your offense score for score. If this game resembles that game
01:11against Notre Dame then Texas A&M in my opinion is going to be live because they have the better
01:16rushing attack averaging 214 heading into this matchup. So I want to push tempo if I'm LSU just
01:22the way I did against Arkansas Cavs. So the more important quarterback for me is in fact Garrett
01:28Nussmeyer to dictate the tempo in this game. Yeah they win with Nussmeyer right where maybe A&M
01:35winning in spite of Wigman or at least he's not the primary part of this team. I'm looking at
01:42Nussmeyer over one and a half passing touchdowns at minus 146. It's expensive but with this being
01:47the best game on the board we have seen some boosts out there maybe get a little bit of better
01:50juice on it. He had two plus in the first six games zero last week that's a clear and obvious
01:55bounce back spot. A&M this season's allowed a lot more touchdowns through the air than on the ground
02:00so that is something I'm interested in. I also do think it's worth mentioning Nussmeyer's Heisman
02:06candidacy. Yeah a win today on the road at A&M this team will then all of a sudden be in the
02:12driver's seat to make the SEC championship and statistically he is at the level. He's not Cam Ward
02:20but he is at the level necessary where again I'm not I shouldn't be surprised but team success is
02:27a lot of the Heisman race right now Ben and LSU all of a sudden would be able to say hey we've
02:34got it as much as anybody else.
