Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler has hit a bullseye on his first foray into the property market - by snapping up a five-bed mansion with an indoor swimming pool.
The 17-year-old star has moved with his parents into the five-bedroom house which he is renting for £ 6,000 a month in a leafy village suburb of his hometown of Warrington, Cheshire.
Estate agents boast that the three-story property is a wonderful family home’ on a street that is known locally as Millionaire’s Road.
Littler, who is rumored to have a new girlfriend, is said to have already netted nearly £700,000 from his soaraway career, despite still being too young to legally buy a pint.
It was revealed last week that the current World Series of Darts champion and his family had swapped their old £180,000 two-bedroom semi in Warrington for the spectacular new property.
The house with electronic gates and bristling with CCTV security cameras has an open plan kitchen and dining area with bifold doors leading to an indoor swimming pool, measuring 36ft by 33ft.
The pool room includes a relaxation area with plenty of space for recliner chairs and gym equipment, a cinema projector, and more bifold doors opening out to a spacious patio.
But the rent could prove to be small change for Littler, nicknamed Luke ‘The Nuke’, with experts predicting he could eventually earn £40 million from brand and sponsorship deals.
Estate agents marketed the property with a gushing description which tempted the teenager to sign up for a long-term lease.
The particulars say it is ‘finished to an uncompromising standard, with intelligent design, impressive technology, top of the range fixtures and fittings and superb leisure facilities.’
The description adds: ‘This is a wonderful family home on one of the most sought-after roads in the region.
‘Fully renovated in recent years, the property has been carefully and cleverly redesigned to optimize and enhance space, creating a perfect balance of luxury finish and ease of living.’
The house is said to have parquet flooring throughout the ground floor with a spacious entrance hallway, leading to a cloakroom, and a ‘well-equipped study’ complete with fitted units.
There is also an ‘exquisite formal living room’, described as ‘an excellent relaxing or entertaining space’ with two sets of bifold doors opening onto the garden, and a glass-fronted cabinet which Littler could use to display his trophies.
The particulars describe the ‘heart of the house’ as its ‘open plan living/dining/kitchen with adjacent swimming pool, to the rear of the property’.
They state: ‘A stylish dining area leads to the sleek kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances and breakfast bar.
‘There is a generous snug, with side access, to the left of the kitchen, while to the right sliding doors open to the large indoor swimming pool with lounge/gym space and cinema projector.
