Isinailalim na sa state of calamity ang buong lalawigan ng Batangas dahil sa Bagyong Kristine. Sa gitna ng pananalasa sa bagyo, isang tulay sa bayan ng Laurel ang nawasak!

00:00The entire province of Batangas was engulfed in a state of calamity due to Hurricane Christine.

00:05And in the middle of the storm, a bridge in the town of Laurel was destroyed.

00:10From Laurel, Batangas, Jonathan Anta was able to find out.

00:16A bridge was cut off due to the strong current of the storm.

00:23This is the bridge that connects the town of Laurel and Agoncillo.

00:29On the other side, there are five more barangays of Laurel where the bridge was cut off.

00:35The residents of Laurel are crossing the river from the other side of the bridge.

00:40Wherever you look, there are many pieces of debris from the mountain that were washed away by the water.

00:47In the entire province of Batangas, 54 people were killed, 21 were lost and 18 were injured.

00:53This is based on the initials of Batangas PNP.

00:57Many residents of Laurel are drowning.

01:00Another problem is the pieces of their houses that were destroyed.

01:04Some pets were killed, lands were submerged, motorcycles were damaged, trucks and coaches were hit.

01:10On the side of the road, we were able to capture three children, including a five-month-old baby.

01:16They were killed in a landslide inside their house.

01:19There is a woman who is taking care of the funeral and precincts here in Batangas.

01:23Her cousin, Analy, and her eight-year-old son, Ayra, were found missing after a flood in the town of Agoncillo.

01:31In the town of Talisay, 18 people were killed in a landslide.

01:36The youngest was a two-month-old baby, the son of the resident, Reinaldo.

01:41All four of his children and his wife were killed.

01:44He found them in a bed.

01:47He told his children not to leave the house while he was fishing in Lawan ng Taal.

01:52They were warned to evacuate, but only in the group chat that was held by the barangay officials.

01:57The congressman said that it is incumbent on this district not to force the evacuation of the mayors.

02:03We are trying to get the assets of Batangas through the RRMO.

02:06Almost all of the landslides were caused by towns that are surrounded by Lawan ng Taal.

02:11As of now, there are still roads that are difficult to pass through Talisay and Laurel.

02:16As of now, the entire Batangas is in a state of calamity.

02:20Even in Laurel, there is no electricity, no water, and cell phone signals are difficult to get through.

02:25We need additional food, drinking water, clothing, sanitary kits and medicines.
