00:00Over the October half-term we've got lots going on. The theme for the holiday is
00:04what pictures tell us and it's linked in with our strike exhibition 84-85 the
00:09longest year, which is about the miners' strike of that time. Lots of
00:15paintings and photos and here you can get to make some portraits and
00:19also create a piece of interactive art in the maker's shed. We've also
00:25got our striking stories which tells us about the 1926 strike and how many
00:30similarities there are between what happened in 84-85. You can go
00:34underground, you can go on the nature trail and we've also got a family
00:39lantern workshops where families can create lanterns which they can then come
00:43and carry at our lantern parade on November the 24th. There's lots to do and
00:49hopefully if the weather's good you can have a great walk along the nature trail,
00:53go on the paddy train, come and see the ponies. There's lots and visit the
00:58adventure playground.
