00:00It's Jason Lee from Hollywood Unlocked, and this is my office.
00:07This is where all the magic happens.
00:10I created this room really as a way of inspiration.
00:13So I have all my accommodations from Senate and from the governor and all of the trademarks
00:17and everything that I've accomplished with my journey getting here.
00:20But then the wall and the wallpaper reminded me of the earlier days when I fell in love
00:26with celebrity culture and I had the Word Up magazine and I would tear all the pictures
00:30out and put them on my wall.
00:31And although they weren't as well put together as this, this is what it kind of looked like.
00:36So when I started Hollywood Unlocked, that's what I had to do.
00:39The home ties into my personality by being very simple, very sterile, very just clean
00:45and calm.
00:46This is my safe place.
00:48This is where I escape from the world.
00:49When the world is going crazy, I can come home and just enjoy a really well put together
00:55yet very simple house.
00:57So the inspiration behind the decor of my home, once Kelly, who designed my house, designed
01:02one room, I really liked the aesthetics.
01:04I like their modernity.
01:05I love modern furniture and I love the color in it.
01:10So I wanted that to really just kind of be the theme throughout the whole house.
01:13And then when she started bringing in different pieces, I really, really love the fashion
01:18books because I'm now getting more into fashion.
01:20Okay.
01:21So my journey getting here, everybody that follows me knows I was a foster kid, lived
01:25in group homes, foster homes, boys' ranch.
01:29And so this house for me is a symbol of my journey because I've pretty much worked hard
01:34for everything I've ever gotten, but I've lived on the road and packing my stuff in
01:38garbage bags, moving from foster home to foster home.
01:40And now I actually have a home and my house is bigger than any foster home I ever lived
01:44in, bigger than any group home I ever lived in, and I'm outgrowing my house.
01:48So this to me is a symbol of hard work and staying focused and survival.
