00:00Week eight key injury updates and lineup changes.
00:06Let's start with the Eagles and Bengals in the jungle.
00:10Yeah, that's right.
00:11So the Eagles, who by the way, are a dog,
00:13believe it or not, they're a road dog here.
00:16They come in a little bit banged up.
00:17And I think as we get through this game and the injuries,
00:20both teams have real concerns.
00:22Let's start with Eagles, right?
00:24Dallas Goddard, almost certain to miss
00:25his second straight game with a hamstring injury.
00:27He's missed five straight practices.
00:29The over the middle pass game,
00:31which was amazing, you saw with New Orleans,
00:33Goddard had over 170 yards receiving.
00:36When he's out of the lineup, it's just a different deal.
00:38There's nothing over the middle.
00:39It's a lot of vertical throws to A.J. Brown, of course,
00:42as you saw last week against the Giants.
00:44With that fourth and three call,
00:46the gutsy call Hurts made an unbelievable throw
00:48for the touchdown.
00:49But when you really look at it, Goddard's out again.
00:52That's the expectation.
00:53Again, he hasn't practiced.
00:53So he'll go with Grant Calcutta,
00:55who's a third year tight end out of SMU.
00:57Very good athlete.
00:58Jack Stoll, who was an undirected free agent two years ago.
01:01Those guys have filled in together over the years
01:04when Goddard hasn't played, and they'll do so again.
01:06And now this is a big one.
01:08Jordan Mailata, Mount Mailata,
01:10biggest left tackle in National Football League.
01:12Six foot eight, the former rugby player, 380 pounds.
01:17He is on injury reserve.
01:18This will be his second straight game.
01:19He's got to serve two more.
01:21They're going with Fred Johnson for Alfred Johnson,
01:23who's played right and left tackle.
01:25A former Bengals backup offensive lineman.
01:28Look, he did a good job last week,
01:30but against the Buccaneers, he struggled at right tackle.
01:32He's playing left this week.
01:33He's going to line up opposite Trey Henrickson,
01:36the right defensive end for the Bengals.
01:38That is an advantage for the Bengals here.
01:40We need to make that clear here.
01:41There's no question about it.
01:42The Eagles may have to help Fred Johnson.
01:44So that's a matchup to look at.
01:45And with the Bengals now, this is a big one.
01:47Speaking of left tackles, Orlando Brown Jr.
01:50He's got this weird knee injury.
01:51He's been limited so far in practice.
01:54He's very questionable to play, as I understand it.
01:56Now, what their plan is,
01:57if Brown doesn't practice tomorrow, he's limited again,
01:59they probably will turn to Cody Ford,
02:02who Carver knows as a former draftee of the Bills,
02:06who was a guard and right tackle for the Bills.
02:08He's never started a game, as I understand it, left tackle.
02:11That's a concern.
02:13The Eagles, the last two weeks,
02:14Pharrell, 14 sacks against two beat up offensive lines.
02:18And all of a sudden, the Eagles found their pass rush.
02:21So if Cody Ford's got to start,
02:22that is an advantage for the Eagles.
02:24The lines makers, though,
02:25I find this fascinating that they have the Bengals
02:27as a two and a half point favorite.
