00:05We've got four categories, but we've only got one champion.
00:09So let's get started.
00:15So we've got over 15 pairs of shoes to show you today.

00:28I'm going to start with the spike category.
00:30And this is Adidas' Tour 360 24, which has been completely
00:35revamped for this year.
00:37Just looking at this shoe, when you take it out of the box,
00:40it looks to me like a traditional,
00:42what I would call a proper golf shoe.
00:44It looks like it's going to perform well, and it does.
00:48As soon as I stepped into this shoe,
00:50I felt completely locked in, secure on every shot.
00:55So what I would say is for this one,
00:57especially if you are a performance-driven golfer,
01:02this one will dial you in on every shot.
01:05So the next shoe is from another performance-led brand,
01:08Under Armour.
01:09And that's the Charged Breathe 2.
01:11Now, these are a leather and waterproof shoe.
01:14They're a nice shape.
01:15They've got some discreet patterns on the uppers.
01:18And we can confidently say that they look and perform equally
01:23well.
01:24And the spikes are their own design.
01:26So Under Armour would be in big trouble
01:29if the grip wasn't up to scratch.
01:31And we can confirm that they are.
01:33Grip was impressive.
01:35And in honesty, if you haven't got the money
01:38to fork out 160 pounds on the Adidas model,
01:42then these shoes are a steal at 85 pounds.
01:45The final shoe in this category is Duca del Cosma's Sabina
01:50model.
01:51Now, women will recognize that Duca del Cosma
01:54is a fashion-led brand.
01:56But that doesn't mean that they compromise on performance.
01:59But just take a look at this.
02:01Smooth, white, clean lines.
02:04And you look at the sole, very grippy, nice spikes,
02:09and just what you need for that extra stability.
02:12And these were worn by Georgia Hall last year on tour.
02:15So if they're good enough for her,
02:17then they're certainly good enough for us.
02:19So I can only pick one winner in this category.
02:22And it has to be the Adidas shoe.
02:24It's an all-round great offering.
02:27And for performance-driven golfers,
02:29it's a really good option.
02:35Moving on to the spikeless category,
02:37the first shoe is Footjoy's Pro SLX.
02:41And similar to the Adidas spiked model,
02:45again, you can see that this is a performance-led shoe just
02:50by looking at the technology on the outside.
02:53What I also really like about this shoe,
02:56I want to keep calling it a footbed,
02:59but it's actually an Ortholite Fitbed,
03:02which makes walking, swinging in a golf club
03:07really comfortable.
03:08And over rounds, it actually molds to the shape of your foot.
03:12So that's really innovative.
03:14I also want to mention the sole, because as you can see,
03:17it's got lots of different shaped nubs.
03:19And it's designed in this way to give you
03:21full support through the swing and just when you're
03:24walking along the fairway.
03:26And what that also means is that this is a great shoe
03:29to wear all year round.
03:31So if, again, you're a performance-driven golfer,
03:35then this shoe is a great spikeless option.
03:39The next shoe in this category is
03:40Echo's latest offering, which is the LT1.
03:44They've been proven to be a joy to wear.
03:47They are made in premium leather,
03:49but the best thing is that they are so lightweight.
03:53And that is thanks to a new foam cushion
03:56that's been embedded into the sole.
03:59And also, we found the traction to be really impressive.
04:02Now, they might be top of the price range,
04:05but we think that this is a worthy investment.
04:09The next shoe in this category is
04:11Duca del Cosmo's Alessi.
04:13Now, personally, I think it looks fantastic.
04:16However, more on that later.
04:18In terms of performance, I really like this raised profile.
04:22As soon as I stepped into these shoes,
04:25for some reason, they made me feel
04:27more confident over the ball.
04:29And they secure your feet in all the right places,
04:32so I would say, for an all-round,
04:35good-looking, spikeless shoe, this is a great option.
04:38And just a quick shout-out to another new model,
04:40the Olivera.
04:42I don't think it looks as stylish as the Alessi.
04:46Some people might disagree,
04:48but it's another good, comfortable shoe.
04:52So, the next shoe in this category
04:53is Puma's Fusion Crush Sport.
04:57Now, this shoe has won us over,
04:59not just because it's got a trainer-style appearance,
05:03but also, it performs well, it's got good grip.
05:07And to us, Puma has managed to get the right balance
05:10of stability and grip here.
05:13And what we would say is, if you play a lot of golf
05:17or on a hilly course, this shoe will suit you perfectly.
05:21It's lightweight, comfortable, it's a great option.
05:26Finally, in this category, I want to talk to you
05:28about this New Balance shoe.
05:29Now, New Balance, this is a new golf shoe brand to me.
05:32I haven't tested this before,
05:34but yeah, I'm pretty impressed by this one.
05:37Now, we all know New Balance trainers,
05:39so as you'd expect from this style, it's very trainer-like.
05:44So, very versatile, can wear this anywhere.
05:47It's got a nice suede effect, which is quite unusual,
05:51although I'm not quite sure
05:52how that's gonna hold up in the rain,
05:54but it does come with a waterproof guarantee,
05:57so we might have to make use of that.
05:59So, I have to pick a winner for this category,
06:02and for me, this is the Footjoy Pro SLX,
06:06simply because it's a performance-led shoe
06:09and it provides excellent comfort.
06:15So, the next category is comfort.
06:17Now, let's face it, we're all different,
06:20so what I might think is comfortable, you might not.
06:23However, we've got a selection here that, universally,
06:26we think that most of the women golfers out here
06:29should find comfortable.
06:31So, the first shoe I want to start with is Echo's Biome C4.
06:36Now, it's not new, however,
06:38there's new colorways for this year,
06:41and what I would say is you will be hard-pushed
06:44to find a more comfortable shoe than this one.
06:47It is super soft.
06:49I was absolutely blown away by the comfort.
06:52What I also like is the,
06:55I think I'm now sold on Boa lace fastenings,
06:58and it just means that you can tighten your shoes
07:02for a more locked-in fit.
07:04I also wanted to point out the sole here.
07:08It's got three different sections,
07:11all combined to give you that really valuable support
07:14you need when you're playing golf.
07:16So, if you really want to dial in your feet
07:18for a comfortable fit, then these shoes are a great option.
07:21Now, they don't come cheap,
07:23but they're definitely worth the investment.
07:26So, the next shoe in this category is the Footjoy Flex,
07:31and this is really, if you're looking for comfort
07:34and versatility, because it's got a lightweight mesh,
07:38and it could easily be mistaken for a running shoe,
07:42but we're talking golf here,
07:44and it's got multiple traction zones for a fantastic grip,
07:49and under 100 pounds for this trainer-style shoe
07:53that you can wear for a whole range of activities,
07:56it really is good value.
07:58So, the next brand I want to talk about is Skechers,
08:01and they are renowned for their comfort.
08:04They've had a lot of input from podiatrists
08:07into the design of their shoes,
08:09so they always provide the ultimate comfort.
08:12Now, there's two models that we want to mention,
08:16and first of all, it's the Skechers GoGolf Max.
08:19Now, these are absolutely great for,
08:22especially if you've got a wide-fitting foot
08:25or if you've got problem feet, really suitable.
08:28They'll just take away a lot of aches and pains,
08:32and they've got a clever arch fit in a sole,
08:34and that's what really works in these shoes.
08:37Now, the other pair is the Skechers Slip-Ons.
08:41Now, these are what you might call hands-free shoes,
08:45because you can literally put your foot
08:48on the heel pillow at the back, slip them on,
08:51and then you're ready to go.
08:53And the other thing about these is
08:55they've got a clever twist-fit closure at the side,
08:59so you can really dial in for that precise fit.
09:02So, both of those models, if you've got problem feet,
09:06you're looking for ultimate comfort, they're great options.
09:10I just want to give a quick shout-out to G4's MG4 X2.
09:15It's got a knitted upper,
09:16and it's this that makes it super comfy.
09:19And the footbed, which is a signature element of G4 shoes,
09:24it feels like you're having a massage
09:26as you're walking along the fairway,
09:27and who doesn't want that?
09:30There can only be one winner in this category,
09:31but for me, it has to be the Echo shoe.
09:36It is so soft, so comfortable,
09:39made in premium leather, perfect.
09:45So, our final category is looks,
09:48and like comfort, this is very subjective,
09:51because what I might like, you won't like, vice versa.
09:56Now, what is important to me
09:58is that you want to look good, feel good,
09:59and as women, we all feel like that on the golf course,
10:02and you want something that's gonna make you smile
10:05and bring out your personality.
10:07So, the first shoe I want to show you is the G4 G112.
10:14Now, if that doesn't make you smile, nothing will.
10:18There are so many colors on here.
10:20Now, I would just add that in this model,
10:23there are seven colors available
10:25if you want to tame it down a bit.
10:27Although, having said that,
10:29you can replace these orange laces with white laces.
10:32Also, again, this has got the signature footbed,
10:35which is absolutely amazing.
10:37So, this is one for you to consider.
10:40The next shoe I want to show you is the Puma Avant.
10:44New for this year, and why I like this
10:47is it's different from the rest of them, actually,
10:50because you've got a bit of traditional here
10:53and a bit of modern styling.
10:55We've got the pink strip around here,
10:56and then you look at the back
10:58and you've got the brogue styling here.
11:00And also, I actually think this little silver logo
11:03looks more traditional than modern.
11:06So, overall, I think that's something that is a shoe
11:09that a lot of women would find appealing
11:11because you've got a mix of both tradition and modern.
11:16So, the last shoe I want to talk about in this category
11:19is Ducadel Cosmas Alessi.
11:22Now, to me, this looks like
11:25such a luxuriously styled golf shoe.
11:28It's got this lovely print that just reminds you
11:31of luxury lifestyle brands, really,
11:34and similar in design, I think, to some of them,
11:37which, and if you look closely on the pattern,
11:39you've got the C from the Ducadel Cosma logo in there.
11:43Overall, it doesn't, to me, even look like a golf shoe.
11:47I just think it's absolutely fantastic,
11:50and that is why I'm crowning this shoe
11:53my number one in this category.
11:55We've tested over 15 pairs of shoes.
