King Charles III has made his first ever visit to Samoa and has become a Samoan ‘high chief’ after partaking in a ‘ava ceremony’ where he drank the ceremonial kava beverage.
Charles and Queen Camilla flew to Samoa on October 23rd for a three-day visit. The king is attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and will deliver a speech at the leaders' banquet on Friday.
