00:00Work to redevelop KL Sentral is expected by the end of next year, so has this plan been finalised already?
00:09Work to redevelop KL Sentral?
00:12KL Sentral, yes, right now is being negotiated between UCAS and the developer
00:19in terms of the terms and conditions for the PPP project, for this PPP project
00:25because the redevelopment of KL Sentral is based on public-private partnership
00:29so it will go through UCAS in terms of negotiation
00:32as far as MOT is concerned, we hope that the negotiation can be completed
00:36within this year, that means within the next 2-3 months
00:41and hopefully we can launch the project, if not end of this year, then early next year
00:48so we hope that the redevelopment will begin next year
00:52Working on the KL Sentral redevelopment, are there any new updates in terms of the construction?
01:10Any new updates for the public?
01:21Construction is ongoing, the operation must continue, KL Sentral cannot be closed even for 1 hour
01:28so the construction has to take into consideration the live operation in KL Sentral
01:34so I think all that are being finalised right now
01:38and we are finalising the privatisation term
01:43because as I mentioned this is a PPP project, the entire cost will be won by the developer
01:50so the government will not give a single cent in terms of the construction cost
01:53but what they will get in return is the air rights of development
01:57so they will build buildings on top of the station
02:03mixed development on top of the station or next to the station
02:06so this is part of their return to build the station for us
02:10but the condition is that they must complete the station first
02:13before they can develop
02:16Last night, the parliament from Sabah
02:20announced that there will be a flight ticket from Sabah
02:23which is a bit expensive, around RM1,700
02:26which is a bit overpriced compared to the ticket to Singapore and the Philippines
02:32which is only RM700 and RM600
02:34what are your recommendations for the flight ticket?
02:36The flight ticket is an issue
02:39but we have to look at it
02:42don't just look at one airline
02:45we have to compare
02:47so usually people only take one
02:50one source
02:51on the same day, of course there will be different times
02:54but on the same day, there will be other flights that are cheaper
03:00so don't just look at one source
03:04one airline
03:06and say this is too expensive
03:08there are alternatives
03:09and most of the time, sometimes I myself check
03:12is it true?
03:13it's true that sometimes, when it's the last minute
03:16all airlines are sold out
03:18the price is high
03:19but most of the time
03:21there are other alternatives
03:23so if you only look at one airline
03:26and don't want to compare with others
03:28I don't think it's fair
03:30so we have to compare with other airlines
03:34there are flights that are more expensive
03:37or cheaper
03:40and for the flight ticket
03:43I will hold a ceremony for the holiday season
03:46we can also celebrate
03:48for the holiday season initiative
