In der italienischen Tragikomödie A World a Part (OT: Un mondo a parte) entschließt sich Michele (Antonio Albanese) dazu, die Hauptstadt zu verlassen und in das idyllische, aber langsam aussterbende Dorf Rupe im Nationalpark der Abruzzen zu ziehen. Die Schule dort zu retten, entpuppt sich für den Lehrer allerdings als Herausforderung, weil er einfach zu wenige Schüler hat.
