00:00Barack Obama was in Detroit last night for a Kamala Harris rally.
00:05She was not there, but he was there, you know, getting the vote out.
00:09He was introduced, as we told you, everyone expected this, that Eminem was going to introduce
00:13him.
00:14And I have to say, when they announced that Eminem was going to do this, I felt like this
00:18is going to be awkward to have Eminem talking about politics, and it's like, it's just not
00:22his place.
00:23But it wasn't awkward.
00:25It wasn't awkward.
00:26We're going to show you.
00:27Here's what Eminem said.
00:28It actually totally made sense.
00:32I think the awkward part came later, but first, here's what Eminem said.
00:35The city of Detroit and the whole state of Michigan mean a lot to me.
00:43Going into this election, the spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it's important
00:47to use your voice.
00:49So I'm encouraging everybody to get out and vote, please.
00:52I don't think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retribution or what
00:56people will do if you make your opinion known.
01:02I think Vice President Harris supports a future for this country where these freedoms and
01:06many others will be protected and upheld.
01:13And here to tell you much more about that, President Barack Obama.
01:19Kept it pretty straightforward.
01:21It was like a minute.
01:22It was like a minute.
01:23And he told you why he was there, and it totally made sense.
01:26So he didn't really get into too much policy.
01:28Okay, so now we're going to disagree, because I think the next part is awesome.
01:31And I feel like it's a little awkward, but here's how Barack Obama opened his remarks.
01:37So I don't usually get nervous, but I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem.
01:49Now notice, my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater are ready,
01:58mom's spaghetti.
01:59I'm nervous, but on the surface I look calm and ready to drop bombs, but I keep bomb spaghetti.
02:07Oh gosh.
02:08I just, I love that.
02:10I love that.
02:12He can pull it off.
02:13What you love is that he knows the lyrics, and that's cool.
02:16I agree that that's cool.
02:17It's authentic.
02:18It's authentic.
02:19It didn't feel authentic.
02:20Do you remember when he sang an Al Green song?
02:23It was, yes.
02:24And that was awesome too.
02:26It's him.
02:27It's him.
02:28But that's closer to him, singing an Al Green song.
02:30Why is that not closer to him?
02:31Because he's closer to Al Green.
02:33He can pull that off.
02:35He's not a rapper.
02:36There's a cut off.
02:37He's not a rapper.
02:38He pulled that off.
02:39And like the affectation in some of the words, just, I don't know.
02:42I loved it.
02:43I'm a fan of his, but I just felt like that was.
02:46I just loved it.
02:47It felt forced.
02:49It's not forced.
02:50Okay.
02:51It's a little theatrical.
02:52I get it.
02:53Okay.
02:54It's a little theatrical.
02:55But my God, come on.
02:56Hi.
02:57I'm Tiffany from St. Louis.
02:58I'm ready for the mixtape.
02:59I love.
03:00Yes.
03:01Obama, absolutely.
03:02I'm impressed that he knew the words, and quite frankly, Kamala and Obama need to absolutely
03:12collab with Eminem and every debate needs to be a rap battle from this point on or I'm
03:17not watching.
03:18Mic drop.
03:19You know what I want to know?
03:20Because when we go to the shot of Obama, you can see, I want to know, were the lyrics in
03:26the teleprompter?
03:27No, he knew it.
03:28Were the lyrics in the teleprompter?
03:29He knew it.
03:30We need an investigation right now.
03:31He knew it.
03:32I want to know.
03:33I'm sorry.
03:34Those lyrics were in the teleprompter.
