00:00Explained to us how this kind of unfolded, I guess you must have been, this happened
00:08fairly late.
00:09Were you in the cabin?
00:10What did you hear?
00:11Yeah, did they inform everyone on board that there's a rescue going on or did you realize
00:16that?
00:17Set the scene.
00:18I was coming out of the show Mamma Mia.
00:19She wanted to watch the second half and I kind of wanted to walk around.
00:22As I walked out of the theater, they were saying, Oscar, Oscar, Oscar on the loudspeaker
00:28repeatedly, not knowing what that was.
00:31I tried to go outside on the fifth deck, which the doors were closed.
00:35There was somebody guarding it and everybody's yelling.
00:38Somebody jumped, went up to the top decks and just proceeded to see a search go on for,
00:46I stayed up there for a good three hours just watching, praying and wondering what was happening.
00:53The Utopia of the Seas, which is another sister ship came over and we were both doing
00:59rotating searches along with a plane and a helicopter that came around midnight and they're
01:08making a flower formation around both ships with four different, there's the boat, four
01:14different little search boats out in the water.
01:17And we were there for a good three hours doing that kind of searching formation.
01:22Even passengers were out until two o'clock in the morning, just searching anywhere in
01:28the water for any signs of anything.
01:31This was supposedly going to be a festive cruise, both for the Swifties and the non-Swifties.
01:39I would assume the mood on the ship now is glum.
01:43Normally when you dock at the private island in the morning, they play this welcome to
01:49Coco Cay song.
01:51It didn't go on this morning, nothing.
01:53They didn't even announce that we docked.
01:55So it was a little bit of a gloomy change.
