00:00is here in Tatarstan, where we are today. Strategically important ties have been worked
00:10out in the area of energy. Russia is the time-tested supplier of gas to Turkey. Using the Blue
00:18Stream and Turk Stream pipelines, we have exported 20.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
00:25We continue to prepare the implementation of our initiative of establishing an international
00:31gas hub in Turkey. I am confident that it will strengthen regional energy security by
00:38using balanced pricing mechanisms. The flagship joint project, the construction of the first
00:46NPP in Akkuyu, the work is being done on all the four power units around the clock, and
00:56we believe that already next year the power station will start to provide energy for the
01:03Turkish energy system. Do the Turkish energy great, as was the task set by you, Mr. President.
01:15And tourist cooperation is a traditionally important area of our collaboration. Last
01:22year, record high 6.3 million Russian nationals visited Turkey, which is 20.7 percent higher
01:29than the year before it. And in January-August of this year, more than 4.5 million people
01:36visited Turkey. And again, we have the growth here, and Russia is number one – Turkey
01:49is number one tourist destination for Russia. And we also helped with the wildfires. Our
01:57aviation participated in this effort. And of course, we are going to discuss the international
02:03agenda, considering the BRICS Head of State Summit and other states that are part of the
02:13Outreach BRICS Plus Forum. Your participation in this event is going to reflect the substantive
02:18role that Turkey is playing in resolving relevant issues of modern world. The most acute topic
02:28is the tragic developments in the Middle East. The principled position of Russia and Turkey
02:33are very close in these regards. And the diplomatic settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
02:46could be achieved only by establishment of the Palestinian state, based on the two-state
02:52solution. And we are going to speak about the Syrian peace process, normalization of
02:57the situation in South Caucasus, and of course, I am ready to brief you on the situation in
03:03and around the Ukrainian crisis. Mr. President, we are very glad to see you. Welcome.
03:08Mr. President, my dear friend, I thank you for the invitation to participate in the extended BRICS
03:32Summit. It is to me a great pleasure to meet you again after our meeting in Astana.
03:40And especially I would like to express our gratitude for your condolences. We have
03:47four casualties, four martyrs, four people were wounded. It's an act of cowardice. This
03:54terrorist attack was an act of cowardice, and I wish Allah received the souls of our martyrs.
04:01Your foreign minister last week, last Friday, visited Istanbul to participate in the three
04:08plus three format meeting. And now we wish to see you in our country shortly. Mr. President,
04:20we continue to make every effort to resolve the issues with the banking transactions between our
04:27countries. We continue to make efforts with our finance ministry and our central bank, and
04:41our trade ministers already started to work on this matter as well.
04:58We are live to Kazan, Russia. The President of the country Vladimir Putin held a bilateral
05:07meeting with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the framework of the 16th Summit of
