00:00Swimmer Xu Wen-er has swum around Manhattan Island, making history as the first Taiwanese
00:06to complete three major global open water challenges.
00:10It took Xu nine hours to circle the island in New York City, accompanied by a boat flying
00:15Taiwan's flag.
00:17She had already crossed the English Channel and the Catalina Channel off the Californian
00:21coast.
00:23I am very happy to see this national flag floating on the path of Manhattan Island.
00:32I am happy to be able to see more people on different stages, even in different countries,
00:41seeing that there are people in Taiwan who are engaged in this kind of movement.
