Porn stars urge men to vote against Trump  Donald Trump may have become involved with a porn star, but if elected president he could try shutting down the entire industry, adult film stars are warning in a push to get young men to vote against the Republican next month. The #HandsOffMyPorn campaign has spent $200,000 so far on ads to run on adult websites, warning viewers that prominent allies of Trump want to ban pornography and lock up the stars who bring it to vivid, graphic life. And they want Americans to fight back at the ballot box. 00:17Unfortunately, the Republican Party and the authors of Project 2025 plan to criminalize

00:23every aspect of our industry, including adult consumers like you.

00:29Usually this kind of stuff comes under the guise of age verification, trying to protect

00:34children, trying to protect women, that kind of thing.

00:37But I mean, to their credit, Project 2025 is very transparent about what it says.

00:43And it's like, we want to outlaw porn.

00:45We want to send everybody who does porn to jail.

00:49So to be clear, I don't think that Trump personally cares about porn and whether or not it's outlawed.

00:55What Trump cares about is himself and elevating his own status and benefiting himself.

01:01And if by reaching, you know, that destination, he needs to sign some bill to outlaw porn,

01:11like fine, that's a means to an end for him because he doesn't actually care.

01:15The porn industry is the canary in the coal mine, right?

01:18We're the first domino to fall when it comes to free speech.

01:22And if we fall, many, many other things are not far behind.

01:27So we know that engaging people who care about adult entertainment, its consumers, its creators,

01:33and its allies can change an election, can change the course of history.

01:38Adult entertainers have practically built this country.

01:40There would be no Seattle without sex workers, as an example.

01:44And so we are the real silent majority.

01:48We know how this is going to play out if a ban on pornography actually goes into effect.

01:53It's not silly.

01:55It's not Lissa Strada.

01:56It's not casual.

01:57What will happen when you make an industry illegal, when you criminalize an industry,

02:03you attract criminals.
