00:14And from here, from where we're standing,

00:16we can see that the water level in the river has calmed down.

00:20That's because there's no more rain, and for now, it's just mud.

00:24Here in San Juan, they experienced heavy rain last night until early this morning, according to some residents.

00:34Because the rain is just a test, there's no more rain for now.

00:38But from last night until 4 o'clock this morning,

00:42the water level in the river continued to rise,

00:45which is an important tributary to the Pasig River,

00:48which is flooded in Quezon City and Manila.

00:51The water level here reached 12.38 meters at 4 o'clock this morning,

00:57which is a sign that there's flooding in the city.

00:59It dropped to 12.17 meters alarm level at 5 o'clock this morning.

01:04And after 6 o'clock this morning, it dropped to 11.71 meters alert level.

01:11Because of the expected effect of Hurricane Christine,

01:13San Juan LGU suspended classes in all private and public schools.

01:18Meanwhile, even though there's no more rain,

01:20some residents are monitoring the water level adjustment here in San Juan River,

01:25especially those who live here in Maytulay.

01:29The floodwater here is obviously rising.
