00:00In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
00:26When the sun is wrapped up in darkness,
00:28وَإِذَا النُّجُومٌ كَدَرَتْ
00:33And when the stars fall, dispersing,
00:36وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
00:40And when the mountains are removed,
00:42وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
00:46And when full-term she-camels are neglected,
00:49وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
00:52And when the wild beasts are gathered,
00:55وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
00:59And when the seas are filled with flame,
01:02وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
01:06And when the souls are paired,
01:09وَإِذَا الْمَوْؤُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ
01:13And when the girl who was buried alive is asked,
01:16بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ
01:21For what sin she was killed,
01:23وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ
01:26And when the pages are made public,
01:29وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ
01:34And when the sky is stripped away,
01:37وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
01:40And when hell-fire is set ablaze,
01:43وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
01:48And when Paradise is brought near,
01:50عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا أَحْضَرَتْ
01:56A soul will then know what it has brought with it,
02:00فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ
02:06So I swear by the retreating stars,
02:09الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ
02:13Those that run their courses and disappear,
02:16وَالْلَيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسْ
02:20And by the night as it closes in,
02:22وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسْ
02:26And by the dawn when it breathes,
02:28إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٌ
02:36That indeed, the Quran is a word conveyed by a noble messenger,
02:42ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٌ
02:55مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٌ
03:05وَمَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُونَ
03:11And Prophet Muhammad is not at all mad,
03:14وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفْقِ الْمُبِينِ
03:21And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon,
03:25وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينَ
03:31And Muhammad is not a withholder of knowledge of the unseen,
03:36وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
03:47فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ
03:53إِنْهُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
03:59It is not except a reminder to the worlds,
04:03لِمَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَقِيمُ
04:12For whoever wills among you to take a right course,
04:16وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
