00:00TANRUZIN OLYMPIC GANGSTERS
00:30Especially in Malaysia, in 35 years.
00:37Although swimming is an individual sport,
00:40we always look at it as a team event.
00:45Because you can't swim alone.
00:48We train together, go to competitions together.
00:51Everything is done as a team.
00:54So that teamwork, that culture is very, very important.
00:58And I, in my opinion, our new national coach, Eric,
01:03and our technical director,
01:04they bring this specialness,
01:08the new energy, positivity,
01:10that we have never had before.
01:14For the record, Jeffrey Orr is the last swimmer
01:16who qualified for the Prestige II competition in 1989.
01:21Marilyn, who competed in the Sydney Olympics in 2000,
01:23hopes that she will also be able to be a model for national swimmers
01:26to face the World Championships in Hungary next December.
01:34So now we have altogether six people who qualified for the World Championships.
01:38And this is the immediate level in Hungary in December.
01:43And then we also have the World Championships next month,
01:47in June in Singapore.
01:49So we hope we can qualify more people
01:53so that they can experience
01:55like in Shanghai.
01:57Most of them have never competed in an international world competition.
02:03So this is not only the achievement,
02:07they did really well,
02:08but also it was a great exposure for them.
